Angelica above:
It's been a month now, and Angelica is amazing. Unlike most pups her age, she's not fussy, at all. The only time she cries is if she's hungry or needs a diaper change, other than that, she's all am and giggles.
I am laying in bed feeding Angelica, when the alarms sound, indicating that there is a threat. I get up and lay her in her crib, then lock the door.
I know a locked door won't stop a wolf from coming in, but it'll help. I wait patiently, pacing the room, Angelica fell asleep almost instantly as I laid her down.
I was ready to shift at a moment's notice, to protect her, if anyone dared enter my room. After awhile I could hear fighting enter the pack house.
I crouch down in front of Angelica's crib, ready for anything. Praying that she remains silent and not cause notice to us.
After awhile the screams and cries do down as the pack is killed. I remain crouching waiting, hoping that they don't come to my room. But as always, I am not so lucky.
"Alpha, this door is locked," a male says outside my door, go the door nob, as he speaks. Soon the door is blown off it's hinges.
As the dust settles, there stands three males. Angelica wimpers in her crib. I growl, preparing to shift. "What do we have here," the bigger male says.
I growl menacingly at them, as I shift myself into a better position to protect Angelica. "She's a mother," the one male says. "Unmated, even," the bigger male says, looking for a mark on me and taking in my scent.
I growl at them, as Angelica wimpers, in her crib. "Alpha, I can't kill a mother and pup," a male says. The Alpha looks at me, "what's your name," he asks, more like demands.
I growl, brushing off his demand, surprising myself that I could. He smiles in return, "we won't hurt you miss," he says, "or your pup, but I suggest you take the pup and leave," he says.
"I have no interest in taking innocent lives, especially of a young pup," he says. The males back away into a corner of my room. I turn and collect Angelica in her blankets, before turning back to them.
"Go," he says. I do as he says, quickly leaving the room and pack house, not looking back as I run with Angelica in my arms, bundled up in her blankets.
