Cody's POV:
Pulling into pack territory, I continue to speed, only slowly to a fraction of the speed I was going before. "Stay out of my way, speeding through," I link the pack members.
"Alpha, where is she," I link Alpha Josh. "Her room, laying down, sedated," he says, I can feel the releif of my return through our link. Telling me he doesn't hate that we are ment to be mated, but only hurt that I didn't say anything sooner to him.
I skid to a halt outside of the pack house, placing my car in park, I dash inside, running right for her room. I didn't care that my car was still running outside, as my only concern was for Angelica.
"Beta Cody," the pack doctor says, his eyes wide, as he takes in my battered body. I stop, and look at him, "do I look that bad," I ask. "She can't see you like this," he says.
I look down and my clothes are riped and bloody, dirt caking them as well. I nod. "I'll shower,but I have to see her," I tell him, even though I can still feel my wounds and broken bones.
"Shower first, she'll be waking up soon," he says. I nod and go to my room, which is a floor below the Alpha's floor. Taking a quick shower, I grab clean clothes and very carefully dress, trying not to brush my wounds as I do.
I run a comb through my hair, and run back upstairs. Approaching her room, Alpha Josh is standing at the door, talking to the doctor. He looks up and sees me.
"She's waiting for you," he says, a smile on his still concerned face, as he opens the door, giving me permission to enter her room.
I nod and enter, to see my beautiful Angel, sitting in her bed, sleepily, till she sees me. She fumbles with the blankets trying to get out of them as quickly as possible, causing me to smile.
I make my way to her, quickly and sit on her bed next to her. She wraps her arms around me and starts crying. "Baby, it's ok, I'm back," I tell her reassuringly, rubbing her back as I do.
Soon I feel the exhaustion, from my aching body and she sense's it of course and pulls me down, so as I am laying in bed next to her.
She wraps herself around me, laying her head on my chest, and before I realize it, I am asleep, with her in my arms, also sleeping peacefully.
