Alpha's Daughter

Cody's POV:

We raced, around the territory, playing, but keeping our distance as her father doesn't like me being to close to her. After awhile we stop at a small river, and I watch as she starts to drink before drinking myself.

After she was done, I couldn't help myself any longer, I walk up, and nuzzle into her fur, her Dad instantly growling and pushes me away, and stands purposely between us.

Not liking that he's separating us from our mate, I growl and he does to. Angel wimpers, but is soon silenced by her dad's glare to her.

She lays down, submitting to him. Then he looks back at me, growling, "why didn't you tell me," he demands through link. "I tried, I really did, but I wasn't even sure myself, I felt the pull but that was it till today," I tell him, but not saying the entire truth.

The entire truth is that I felt tingles every time I touched her, even as a pup, but the pull is what told me for sure that she was ment to be mine.

I watch as Angel stands up, and touches her dad's side, with her muzzle, trying to calm him down, as she has done many times as a pup. He looks as though he's visibly relaxing.

I calm myself, but she moves towards me afterwards, and he growls at her. She stops and looks at him, "Daddy he's mine, my mate," she says, leaving the link open for me to hear.  She wimpers at the end, and looks at me, her eyes holding so much trust for me.

My heart swells at her trust, making me want to go to her, my need to be with her grow, stronger. She steps towards me, as I do her. Alpha Josh growls, but remains in the same spot.

As we approach each other we touch noses, and that's when all hell broke lose. Her Dad attacked me, knocking her out of the way as he does. I watch as she skids across the ground, and then tumbles onto her side, but remains uninjured.

It's then that I begin to fight back, but I also know that I don't have a chance against my Alpha, but for my mate, I'll try.

After a few painful minutes, Angel jumps in, to protect me. She pins her Dad down, growling in his face as she does.

I slowly get up off the ground. Watching her, "he's mine, I won't let you take him from me Dad," she says through the pack link, still growling. I feel her arua, and it's incredible, almost making my wolf submit to her.

Her Dad wimpers,but he stops fighting her, and submits to her fully. She climbs off his wolf form and looks at me, her arua fading back to normal.

"I'm sorry, I had to," she says through pack link to me, looking sad. I shift and walk up to her, "I know," I tell her.  I reach out and she willing places her head in my hand, with the help of our sparks, she calms down completely.

I hear her Dad shift, "I'm sorry, sweetheart, I....I was so angry," her Dad says, "I don't want him to take you away from me," he says.

I look at my Alpha, "I would never take her away from you," I tell him. "That would hurt you and her, I couldn't," I tell him, "you are my Alpha for as long as you reign so."

"If she wants you, which she clearly does, then she's yours, but don't hurt her," he says. I nod my head at him, and he turns away and walks off back towards the pack house.
