Cody's POV:

"Baby what's wrong," I ask Angelica. As her face was saddened and held a hint of fear. She looks at me,her eyes glisten with tears, as they threaten to spill.

My heart drops, at her expression, as fear leaps forward in my mind. Is she going to reject me? Does she not love me? My wolf wimpers in fear as well.

"I..... I'm scared," she says, answering my question. I look at her in shock, my normally fearless mate, as her words sink in.

"She's scared, she doesn't want to reject us, she's just scared," my wolf says happily. My heart soars at her words, that she's not going to reject me, she's just scared.

"Scared of what," I can't help but ask, looking at her. I catch a tear that escaped her eyes. "I don't want to go into heat," she says, causing me to smile a little.

"Baby, I'll be here for you, if you wish, I'll help you through the heat, in every way possible if you wanted," I tell her. She gives me a look of hope and love.

"Really, you won't leave, even if my Dad has a mission or something," she asks. I look at her lovingly, "I would never let you face your heat alone," I tell her, "I will definitely not let another male near you," I state with a small suppressed growl.

I wanted to growl menacingly, Willi to kill any male who dared touch her or look at her wrongly.

She shudders in my arms, as I growled. "I'm sorry, just the thought of someone touching you in anyway but me angers me and my wolf," I tell her, caressing her cheek with my hand.

"All I want is you," she says, looking at me, her eyes portraying every ounce of love and trust she has for me.

I flip us over, so I'm straddling her, as she lays underneath me, I growl in want, as she shudders, but her eyes show me her need as well. She squirms beneath me, causing me to harden, as she rubs against my body.
