Angelica's (aka: Angel) POV:
After breakfast, my Dad went to a meeting leaving the territory and me in charge, which he tends to do, since I will be Alpha when he steps down.
Cody was to help me take care of the pack, as he'll be the Luna, but I like to think of us as both Alpha's, as I'll rely on him, just as much as he will on me, besides it'd be weird calling him a Luna.
-----------------------------------------------------------
It's been three days since ny Dad left, he was only suppose to be gone two days, tops. My dad's new mate, is stressing big time about his disappearance.
I've called the Alpha Dad was suppose to meet, and he left there when he was scheduled to do so. So now he's missing.
I am sitting in the office calling neighboring packs, trying to find a reason to why my Dad isn't back yet, as our neighboring packs are allies to us.
I hang up the phone, and look at Cody. "No one's seen or heard from him," I tell Cody, worry in my voice. "I'm sure he's ok," Cody says trying to reassure me, even though worry coats his words.
"Cody, Angelica, run," my Dad suddenly mindlinks me and Cody. "Dad, what's wrong," I ask in mindlink. "Marcus, run," he says more urgently.
Before I do anything, I am in Cody's arms and he rushes out of the pack house, running for the goddess knows where.
"Cody what's going on," I ask, as he continues to run. "Alpha Marcus is the one who beat me, he wants you," he says, a growl escaping him. I look at Cody in horror as it all sinks in.
"But he can't, I'm yours," I state. "That won't stop him, he'll use me, to keep you, when he finds out," Cody says, as we reach our borders.
Panic sets in my heart, as I know what he means, and I cuddle into Cody's arms, feeling scared, but safe in his arms. "It's ok baby, he won't touch you," Cody says, as he continues to run, crossing the border into uncharted territory.
By nightfall, Cody finally stops running, and sits me down. He starts pacing in front of me. "We can't go back, but we can't stay out here," Cody says. "You'll be inheat soon, and it's to open, I can't protect you here," he says, worried.
"Dad, has a house near a lake," I tell Cody, "it's hidden and nobody in the pack knows about it but my Dad," I tell him. "But what if he forces your Dad to tell him," Cody says.
My fear spikes as we discuss the possibility of me being found. "We have to go to the human land," Cody says, "mask both our scents, and stay hidden," he says, continuing his pacing.
He reaches down and helps me up, "let's go," he says. He undresses and shifts, "ride on my back," he links me. I climb into Cody's back, after grabbing his clothes of the ground. He then begins to run for the human land, our only chance at safety.

* I planned on doing a different route, but I like this one better. The other was they were caught of guard, and all that, and Cody's fears, happened, but decided to go this route.
* I hope you enjoyed the tour I took instead.
