Peridot POV
I've been having a really difficult time around Lapis, I can never stop smiling around her. I smile so much that when I stop it almost hurts.
I literally still didn't ask if we were dating yet
It's only a full 24 hours until school starts and Lapis and I never got a chance to talk about that kiss. Everything has been so awkward around us and anytime we on the topic if relationships or kissing, it gets even worse.
But today, I decided to try and talk to her.
Lapis was in the room on her bed playing on her phone while I was sitting on mine not facing her. I got off my bed and walked over to her,
