Friday
Outfit:
Today I'm wearing a white blouse, high waisted jeans, platform sandals, a gold necklace, a clear Lokai bracelet, a white Pura Vida bracelet, and a wave bracelet my sister got me for my birthday last year.
On Tuesday I didn't have school because it snowed and was cold out. So I had to do my school work at home. My mom ended up taking me to look for a Winter Formal dress for my dance that's in December. My sister and her friend came with to help me look for dresses. At the dress shop we went to, the employees have to go to the back to find dresses for you. There are some dresses for shoppers to look around at but in the back, there are more. The girl who was helping me find dresses had a different taste than me. Luckily a second employee went in the back to look around and the employee found the perfect dress. I got a long blue/gray dress with flowers on it. It's so pretty. I love it.
The dance is, I think, 29 days away. My mom asked me a few days before we went dress shopping if I really wanted to go to the dance. I said yes because I love dressing up and wearing dresses. It sounds kinda childish but I feel like a princess. Then she said stuff about what if you don't get a date. Then she was like you're only a freshman, but my sister got asked to the dance when she was a freshman. I don't know it just makes me sad. I always compare myself to her in different ways and I know that I shouldn't but I do. I just don't know if anyone will ask me. My sister and I are complete opposites. Sometimes I think that I'll never find anyone. Of course, I'll still go to the dance if I don't. It's just... I don't know. It makes me sad to think about it.

No FicciónWelcome to my diary where I document my life as a freshman in high school. I will be writing about the things I do during school, what I think about things, who I hang out with, and just a bunch of random high school stuff. Hey, my name's Liliana...
