After getting dressed i curl my blonde hair apply some make up and head downstairs
"Wow sweetie you look beautiful" my mom cheers
I smile "thanks momma" i say smiling
"My little girl" daddy says smiling
"One of them father!" Lexi beams
"Yes but when was the last time you had a boyfriend?" He asks

"I'll get it!" My mom beams
I laugh "so lexi got a date tonight?"
"Yeah with a hot billionaire" she says smiling
"You know just because they have looks&money doesn't mean they are nice right?" I ask
"Yeah i don't care" she says leaving upstairs to her room i roll my eyes and shake my head
"She will never learn" i say sighing

He chuckles "ready to go? We've got reservations for 7pm" he says smiling

We arrive at country diner we sit down and waitress takes our orders
"I'll have a sweet tea with lemon please" i say smiling
"Sure, and your sir?" The waiter asks
"I'll have the same" kade says smiling
"Perfect I'll be right back folks" he says leaving
"This place is cute&cozy" i say smiling
"I didn't think you'd like it" he confesses
I furrow my brows "why wouldn't i? It's perfect I'd prefer this over a fancy dinner any day"
He smiles and kissing my hand soon the waiter returns with our drinks and takes our order
"I'll have the country fried steak, with mashed potatoes&gravy with a side of fries" i say smiling
"Okay sauce for your fries?" The waiter asks
"Ketchup&ranch" i say smiling
"And you sir?" The waiter asks
"I'll have the porkchops with gravy, mashed potatoes&gravy and green beans" kade says smiling
"Okay coming right up" he says leaving

Soon our food arrives we dive in then head to our next stop
"Wow that food was amazing mmm" i say smiling
He laughs "should have told you their country fried steak will fill you up"
I smile "would have been nice"
We decide to walk along the pier taking in the lake he throws his arms around me i hug his arms as we stare out into the night
"So does your father always look so intimidating?" He asks
I laugh "he's protective of his babygirl" i say smiling
"Does he do the same for your sister?" He asks
"Uhh kind of complicated there because she's not like me she acts without thinking and dates billionaires who are asshats she's more city than country" i say
He nods "oh gotcha so her&your dad don't see eye to eye?"
"Not really he tries to tell her so does mom&myself but she does what she wants" i say shrugging
"Well that sucks because alexander really likes her" he says smiling
"He does?" I ask
"Yep and Kate likes luke" he says smiling
