"Hey, Rebecca." I could practically see the venom dripping from her voice. Tammy had a sickly sweet smile plastered on her face, and seemed to smile even brighter when my eyes kept flickering back and forth between her and the scary ass guy. Run? Don't run? My mind had a mini flashback to when Keith was following me that day. I looked back at the guy once more. Yep, definitely not running. He'd freaking tackle me.
I stayed silent and ended up ignoring the guy and just glaring at Tammy. What the hell was she doing?
"I'm sorry for having to have to single you out like this, but I would never be able to get much done with all your haters right next to me. In fact, they would've probably given me too many good ideas that I wouldn't be able to get anything done." Tammy gave an evil smile.
I stayed silent and glared at her. Who the hell did she think she was?
Tammy brought her hand up with her palm facing up giving me a "hand it over" gesture. I sat there in silence and acted like I had no idea what she was talking about. Which really, I had no idea. My mind was too busy panicking at this confrontation.
Tammy rolled her eyes and motioned for the guy to step aside. She walked forward and snatched the phone out of my hands. It was locked, thank goodness, but I had a feeling it wouldn't be for long.
"Password?" Tammy asked, sounding incredibly annoyed. My mouth was dry and I couldn't bring myself to answer. I can't let that evil bitch win. However, somewhere in my mind I doubted that I would win this one. In fact, I hardly ever win anything.
Tammy repeated the question, and when I didn't answer the scary guy stepped forward and cracked his knuckles. Damn it, why did he have to be so intimidating.
"This is going to hurt." He muttered before taking another step towards me. Ugh. I knew I had suicidal thoughts before, but I never wanted to die by the hand of a classmate.
"Wait!" I pleaded. Tammy sneered and I swallowed. Damn it, I gave in even before he even began.
"The password is start from the top right, go down two, then go left diagonal and then right one."
She followed what I was saying and tried multiple times to unlock it, but still was unable to. She became even angrier and shouted, "You're lying to me." Her eyes narrowed and her fist was shaking. I gulped, shaking my head.
"I'm telling the truth. Here, let me try."
She reluctantly shoved the phone screen in my face and watched me swipe the password in- exactly how I had described it too. She groaned when she realized that I wasn't lying and that she had just been doing it wrong the whole time.
Unfortunately, the evil grin reappeared once it was unlocked and she immediately began tapping who knows what.
I sat there silently biting my lip hoping someone would walk by and help me. I made a slight move with my head to see if anyone was in the vicinity, but to my "luck" it was just us three. I gulped.
Tammy still stood there pressing rapidly. I don't know what she did but the phone rang. She grinned and stared at me. She took out a sheet of paper from her coat pocket and held it in front of my face. What the hell she came prepared.
"Read this when you answer the phone." Then she pressed the green button and made the call go on speaker.
"Hello?" I croaked with my parched voice. Tammy shot me a look and I immediately cleared my voice and repeated, "Hello?"
"Rebecca? Are you alright? Where are you right now?"
I was briefly happy when I recognized the voice, but my heart fell when I remembered that I was being monitored.
