Katie's POV

I woke up to someone's arms wrapped around me. I pulled away gently, trying hard not to wake the other person up.

"Zach?" I tried to wake him up.

"What?" He muttered. "Give me five more minutes." He then pulled me back into his chest and fell back to sleep immediately.

Great. I sure do hope that Daniel didn't see this. He would definitely get the wrong impression.

After his five minutes were up, I gently shook Zach awake.

"Hey, your five minutes are up, and I want to know where the rest of the boys are." I tried to yank myself free from his arms, but he was clearly stronger than me.

"Ok, I'm up," he said. "Daniel is upstairs probably, and I don't know where the rest are."

I rolled my eyes and turned around to go find my brother.

Daniel's POV

I was alone in my room, casually strumming on my guitar when Katie burst into my room.

"Oh hey," I put my guitar down. "I'm glad you came in because I actually need to talk to you."

She sat down on my bed and said, "Great because I wanted to talk to you too."

"So, I saw you and Zach snuggled up on the couch together. I thought we had already talked about you not getting too close to any of the guys. I didn't think I would be having this conversation so soon, and I also thought Zach was one of the guys I didn't have to be worried about."

"Well, I was asleep, so it's not really my fault about the whole couch thing. Also, you should know that Zach and I are just friends, so there's no need to get all protective." She seemed to be telling the truth.

"Ok, well I just don't think you should date any of the guys. They're like my brothers, so that kind of makes them your brothers, too."

She rolled her eye. "No, that does not mean they are my brothers. Daniel, I'm not going to date any of them, but what Zach and I were doing is harmless. Also, I'm not in the band, so that means I don't have to view the guys as my brothers."

She then stood up, but I wasn't finished.
"Just be careful, Katie. Especially around Jonah. He's kind of a player, and I don't want to see you getting hurt."

She looked insulted. "Jonah is nothing but a snot, so there's no need for you to worry about me getting any romantic ideas about him."

With that, she turned around and slammed the door behind her.

Corbyn's POV

I had been asleep in my room, but a loud bang that sounded like it came from Daniel's room woke me up.

I peeked out into the hallway and saw Katie (I think that's what her name is) storming out of Daniel's room.

"Got an earful?" She practically spits in my face.

"Woah," I stepped back and put my hands up. "I didn't hear a thing, I swear. I just heard the door slam, which woke me up from my much-needed nap."

"Sorry, I shouldn't have snapped at you, but Daniel just keeps giving me so many stupid rules. It makes me just want to throw them all out the window and do exactly the opposite of what I'm told to do."

I smirked at her and said, "Well, what would be the 'exact opposite' of what Daniel wants you to do?"

She looked at me like I was a complete idiot.

"Date one of you morons, apparently. Duh. I thought he told you guys I'm off-limits to you." She frowned.

Oh, I see. Well, I guess the opposite of what she was supposed to do sounded exactly like the opposite of what Daniel wanted me and the other boys to do. This was going to be easier than I thought. I already had seen Jonah checking her out earlier, and just the idea alone of taking a girl right out from under Jonah's nose made me smile.

"Why are you smiling? I just called you a moron, and I don't see what is so damn funny."

"Oh sorry, I was just thinking about something."

"What's that?"

I wasn't sure now was the best time to tell her that I could help her out by fake-dating her in her attempt at rebelling from Daniel.

"Look, I am not going to take nothing for an answer, so you better just tell me." She put her hands on her hips and acted like she was threatening me.

"I have a plan," I smirked and then pulled her into my room, shutting the door behind us.
