A Week Later...

Jonah's POV

Tomorrow we were headed back home. I knew Katie was relieved to be going home. We hadn't had much of a chance to talk on tour, but I was hoping that would change when we got back home. I still hadn't figured out what was going on with her and Corbyn.

I looked up from my phone to see him going into mine and Katie's hotel room. Hmm. I headed outside where I could stand on our balcony to listen.

Katie's POV

"Corbyn, I don't know what to tell you. I don't want to end things, but maybe you're right. This relationship is too stressful for both of us."

He ran his hands through his hair.

"Can we just end it for now, and then see how things go?"

I nodded my head, trying to keep the tears in. I looked up and saw a tall figure on my balcony. He held a finger to his lips. Must be one of the boys.

After Corbyn left, I went over to the balcony.

Jonah stepped inside. "Thank god," he said. "I was starting to freeze to death."

I reached for him and fell into his arms.  He held me while I cried.

"Did you hear everything?" He nodded and looked at me sympathetically.

"At least I can start hanging out with Zach again. I also don't have to worry about Daniel finding out about us."

"Are you happy? That is what really counts, Katie."

Is it, though?

"I don't know, Jonah. I just really appreciate you being there for me. I feel like I've cried on you too many times."

He laughed. "I don't mind. I just really want you to be happy. If Corbyn keeps messing with your feelings, I'm going to have to mess up his face."

Oh dear.

Daniel's POV

Zach and Katie seemed like they were back to being best buddies.  That was a good sign. Maybe she would start talking to me again too.
