Chapter 14

Jonah's POV

I bumped into Katie as she stormed out of her room. She walked right past me.

I let her go because she looked like she was in a bad mood.

Daniel's POV

Katie walked right into my room without even knocking.

"What's wrong?" She looked really upset.

"I need to tell you something. You might get mad, so you have to promise me first that you will not beat anyone up after this."

Oh god, help me.

"So, Corbyn and I aren't really together. What I mean is that we've been faking it."

What?? I didn't know if I should be mad or disappointed, but I only felt relief. 

I reached out and pulled her into my arms. She started crying.

"Daniel, I actually want to be with him for real. But I don't think he feels the same way."

"Are you going to end the acting then?" I was worried about her now.

"I think that it is best if I end it. If I don't I'm scared of getting hurt."

I wanted to beat Corbyn up, but I wasn't sure that would help anything. 

Katie's POV 

After I told Daniel, I went back to my room. 

"What do you think you're doing here?" I glared at Jonah. 

"You looked upset earlier, and I wanted to make sure you were ok." 

Like hell he did. 

"Well, you will find out at some point. I need to tell you myself, though." I sighed. "Well, this is awkward. So, Corbyn and I aren't really dating. The whole relationship is fake. We've only been pretending."

He didn't look as surprised as I thought he would be.

"I knew it! I knew there was something weird about the whole thing. I would hear you guys fighting in your hotel room almost every night."

Wait, why did he look so happy about it being fake?

"What's it to you? I actually like Corbyn, but he doesn't feel the same. I told Daniel, and we both agree that the acting should stop. So, now I need to go find him and fake break up with him."
