Two Weeks Later...
Katie's POV
The boys were leaving to tour Europe early tomorrow morning. I was going with them. Corbyn and I had now told everyone that we were dating. The only ones who knew it was fake were him and me. Daniel was ok with it. I was surprised by how he reacted. It was almost like he already knew about us.
Well, he thought he knew the whole story.
Corbyn's POV
The only person who seemed upset about the news was Zach. He thought I was trying to steal his best friend. If only he knew the whole story. Katie and I had been hanging out a lot recently. When she wasn't calling me an idiot, she was actually pretty fun. Sometimes, she would forget it was fake, and I let her pretend we were real for just a little bit.
Jonah had been acting weird lately. He seemed to be watching us constantly. I had gotten used to him checking Katie out, but he had started to watch both of us. Maybe he suspects that we aren't really dating. I'm not very good at acting sometimes. Katie knows exactly how to push my buttons, and I think she's taking advantage of the situation.
Jonah's POV
Katie and Corbyn seemed like a normal happy couple, but I had the strangest feeling that something about the relationship was weird. Sometimes, I would hear them fighting in the hotel room at night. Katie still got on my nerves, but Corbyn seemed to do most of the yelling. I hated seeing her at breakfast with red puffy eyes. When Daniel would ask her if she and Corbyn had fought, she always said no. I could tell by the way she bit her lip that she was lying.
I wanted her to trust me, and I couldn't explain my feelings for her. She drove me crazy. One day, she would be all nice and tease me a little. The next day she went back to calling me a jerk. I never knew what to expect from her.
Katie's POV
I kept telling myself that Corbyn only pretended to care about me. I wanted to be with him for real now, but he had to keep reminding me that it wasn't real. I wish he would go back to being a jerk. It would make it a lot easier to stop liking him, and I could maybe start over with someone who likes me back. Who knows? I might meet someone while we are on tour. I also felt bad deceiving Daniel. He has been so nice and supportive lately. He keeps encouraging me to practice my guitar and play the piano. He likes seeing me happy, but I'm scared to find out what he would say if he found out that Corbyn and I were only fake.
