Author's Note : it's been years- kidding, but it's been too long and i finally have my laptop fixed! i'm sorry for the long delay!!

Coming to school for the next day- needless to say that you and Sal were sleep-deprived because of what happened earlier.

You doze off on Liam's shoulder on the bus, already being used to being bus buddies. Sal and Larry always sat next to each other, Todd didn't really like talking to anyone so early in the morning and uses the time while riding the bus to wake himself up and get ready for the day, so that leaves you with Liam.

"You look so tired, what happened?" He asks, lightly chuckling. "Bad night? Nightmares? Or did you really just stay up all night?"

You groggily blink at his words, barely registering what he had just told you.

"The.. uh, stayed up all night." You mumble, nodding along. Though you couldn't help how you felt giddy while thinking of what happened before going to bed. Who wouldn't get giddy after spending nearly an entire hour holding hands with someone who you like for a short while now?

A sigh escapes your lips at the realisation that you like Sal, well, it's not like you tried denying it before.

Did you? Even if you did, you wouldn't remember.

"Y/N, dear, we're here." Liam says, shrugging a shoulder so you'd sit up. You do so, standing up while holding on his shoulder so you wouldn't just nod off and accidentally bump into someone. You stumble forwards upon getting down on the bus, only for someone to hold onto your arm and help you regain your balance.

"Hey, thanks-" You look up, meeting eyes with Sal. You feel your face go hot, suddenly waking up at the realisation that he helped you and say, "- uh, thanks Sal."

"Don't be dumb." He says, letting go of your arm and walking to the group. You exhale through your nose, smiling at how he's back to normal. Last night he seemed so soft, so vulnerable, so.. kind, and unlike the Sal you've grown to know as rude and pessimistic.

It just makes you wonder if all cold people are really just good at hiding their softness. Huh, makes you think.

You walk over to the group, muffling a yawn with a hand as you sling an arm over Ashley's, "So, what's on the agenda today, guys?"

"Bologna day." Larry grumbles, wrinkling his nose at the thought of it.

Remembering the day, you all collectively groan.

Bologna day's the worst.

With the bell ringing, you all head to your classes, with yours being the usual with Chug and Mina. You smile at how Chug kisses Maple on the cheek before going their separate ways, humming to yourself at how cute they looked and how you wished that Sal would-

Wait.

Wait, what?

Where did that come from?

"Y/N? Are you okay?"

You stop in your tracks, connecting eyes with Mina.

The events of last night suddenly come surging into your mind and you quickly turn away, finding yourself walking away from her.

"Y/N, I know that I did something wrong yesterday, please just let me-"

"Mina."

You turn to look at her, and she had stopped in her tracks as well. You could see it in her eyes that she's pleading for you to listen to her.

You didn't know what to say.

"Let's.." You wince at your next words, "We'll talk about this.. later. With Sal and.. Larry. During study hall."
