A Jolex Story

Chapter 11

Jo's pov:
Finally, we arrived at our house. I know it's not exactly a house but whatever. Alex and I took the suitcases and opened the door. By the time we left the suitcases, we jumped on our bed and Alex started talking to the baby. By the time he woke up, he talks to the baby every single day.
Alex: "Hey baby. How are you feeling today?  Next week we are going to find out your gender. Mommy and I are really happy. We can't wait to meet you! We love you so much!" He said and kissed my bump multiple times.
Jo: "Hey. Do you want to go the baby store? We have to buy so many things. I mean, I have bought the crib but a baby needs many many things."
Alex: "What about going tomorrow? I am a little tired. Besides you are only 15 weeks pregnant. We have long way to go."
Jo: "Fine. Besides I am tired too."

The next day
Alex's pov:
Today, we are going to buy some stuff for our baby. I haven't told Jo yet but I really want it to be a girl because I'll be having two Jos in our house. Today, I am going to tell Meredith about the baby. I don't know why but she behaves so badly at Jo. Also, I am thinking of proposing to Jo but I don't know how. I'm gonna ask Jackson about it.
Jo: "Hey babe. We arrived at the store. Let's go."
Jo's pov:
The store was huge! It had so so many things that I couldn't pick which one I should buy. Alex adviced me not to buy many clothes yet since we don't know the gender. We bought a stroller and some toys. I also bought some onesies without Alex knowing it. We went back to our loft and started talking to the baby one more time.
Alex: "Hello baby! Mommy and I bought you many things! I hope you like them! Hey Jo! Have you thought any baby names yet?"
Jo: "Well, I haven't thought names for a boy but if it's a girl, I am thinking of Amy. What about you?"
Alex: "I think Amy is a wonderful name! As for me, I haven't thought any baby names yet but since both of us like "Amy" then Ok. But what if it's a boy?"
Jo: "Well, we will have the ultrasound and if it's a boy, we are going to think for names to name him."
Alex: "Fine. Now I will go to Mer's house because I want to talk to her about the baby."
Jo: "Good luck with that!"
Alex's pov:
I don't know how Mer will react about the baby but I don't have a good feeling.
Mer: "Hi Alex! Come on in! What's the thing you want to tell me?"
Alex: "Let me sit first." When I sat, I decided to tell her the truth.
Alex: "Listen Mer. You might not react well to what I have to tell you. Well, Jo and I are h-having a b-baby."
Meredith: "WHAT?!? WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN? YOU LEFT PREGNANT AN INTERN?!? I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!"
Alex: "Meredith please relax. I know that Jo and I are moving way too fast but now we're having a baby."
Mer: "Alex please go now."
Alex: "Fine."
