A Jolex Story

Chapter 14

While Jo and Mer were in the kitchen:
Arizona: "So. Alex. Are you ready to propose?"
Alex: "Of course I am but I don't know. I think it would be better to do it when we get home."
Cristina: "No evil spawn. We would love to see your romantic side. Hahaha."She said in a sarcastic way.
Alex: "Oh shut up. I am way better than you think."
Amelia: "She's coming. Don't talk!"
Meredith: "Here we are. Where's my son? Bailey!"
Owen: "He must be in his room."
Alex's pov:
We cut the cake but I was feeling way too nervous. The whole time I was staring Jo like an idiot and suddenly Owen made a facial expression which meant to tell me that I should propose. Now or never.
Alex: "Jo. I want to tell you something."
Jo: "Sure what is it?"
Alex: "Look. I don't know if this is the right time but I wanted to do it from the first time I saw you. Well, Jo, I love you so much my heart's gonna explode. You and our children are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I can't wait to see you growing up with me and having lots of kids playing around us. Josephine Wilson, will you marry me?" I said and showed her the ring.
Jo: "Oh my God Alex. Of course I will." Jo said with tears in her eyes.
Meredith: "Congratulations you guys! I am so happy for you!"
After a while we left and went to our home. Jo is so cute with that baby bump. Before we slept, Jo and I talked to our babies and fell asleep minutes later.
~3 months later~
Jo's pov:
Today is my 32nd week of pregnancy! Oh! Time flies so fast! My bump is so huge that I can't even see my feet. Also today my maternity leave starts and since Alex is having his day off today, we're going to the baby store to buy the last things to be ready because Arizona said that since I'm pregnant with twins, I might give birth earlier.
Alex: "Good morning princess! How did you sleep?"
Jo: "Actually, I didn't because I kept going to the bathroom every 10 minutes."
Alex: "Oh baby. You should have woken me up. Now, I thought that it would be better to pack our bags for the hospital to be ready and maybe go to the baby store tomorrow."
Jo: "Ok. I think you're right."
We packed our stuff and then Alex went to cook.
Alex: "So. Tomorrow we will go to the store right?"
Jo: "I don't think we'll go."
Alex: "Why not?"
Jo: "My water just broke!"
