"You collapsed as well?"

Sutton glanced up from her book to see Harry observing with curiosity shining in his emerald eyes. She didn't respond for a moment, only stared at the boy who looked painfully small beneath her gaze.

"Yeah." She finally responded, "Why?"

The Gryffindor Seeker hesitated for a moment before responding.

"Did you, uh..." He trailed off uncomfortably as he nervously played with the fraying linen on his hospital bed.

"Did I what?" She asked impatiently as she placed her book on the side table in order to give the boy her full attention.

"Hear a woman screaming?" Harry replied so quickly that it took her a moment to process what he had actually asked her.

"Sort of." She replied thoughtfully as she felt the familiar confusion, "I heard two women and a little girl, but one woman screamed and only once. Why? Was that something similar to what you heard?"

He nodded.

"I heard a woman." He said quietly, "She was screaming, begging for her life."

"Dementors make us relive our worst memories." She responded gravely, thinking back to what her mother had once told her when she was little and her mother had a little too much to drink and had cried about the horrors of Azkaban Prison.

She had asked about it years later but her mother hadn't answered.

"But I don't remember anything like that happening," Harry countered, looking completely frustrated.

"I don't remember what the Dementor's made me relive." Sutton told him honestly, "But they suck up all of our happy memories, leaving us with the horrible ones, even the ones that we don't necessarily remember."

The emerald-eyed male nodded thoughtfully.

"Yeah, okay." He murmured, "Thanks."

"Don't mention it." She replied as the doors of the hospital wing opened and Lyra walked through, a strut in her step as she made her way to Sutton's bed.

"I have come to retrieve you for dinner." The raven-haired witch exclaimed with a large smile.

Sutton grinned, quickly throwing her legs over the side of the cot, allowing them to dangle for a second before hopping off of the bed and landing firmly on the ground. She quickly grabbed the book that she had placed on the side table and handed it to Harry with a nod.

"Tell Granger that I said thanks for this." She said, smiling at him, "And feel better, yeah?"

He nodded, shooting her a hesitant smile.

"Okay, Ly." Sutton exclaimed with a grin, "Let's go because I'm starving."

"You got it, Ez." She replied as the two linked arms and left the Infirmary, closing the door behind them.
