The day before the students were set to depart Hogwarts for Christmas break found Sutton and Lyra sitting in the library hoping to get a start on their homework so they wouldn't be drowning in it over Christmas when they were joined by the Weasley twins who were being shushed by a seventh year Hufflepuff the minute they had walked in because George had laughed at something Fred had said.

"Wait a minute, you two actually know where the library is?" Lyra joked as the identical twins plopped into the two chairs that were across from the best friends.

"Of course," Fred replied.

"We just don't like coming in here." George added as he opened his bag and pulled out an inkwell and a few quills.

"Plus Pince hates us." Fred told the two, "She's in the Hospital Wing with the flu so we should be right until she gets back."

Sutton nodded as she dipped her quill back into the inkpot and wrote down the ingredients of the Wolfsbane Potion for her essay.

"I still have no idea why we're learning about something that not even the seventh years are supposed to learn," George commented as he watched the brunette list the final ingredient.

"Probably just trying to psych us out for our exam," Lyra responded as she finished the final sentence of her Charms essay.

Or he's trying to expose Professor Lupin's secret, Sutton thought to herself as she watched her friend roll up her completed homework and place it in her rucksack but instead choosing to respond with, "That's probably it."

"I'm starving," Lyra announced almost twenty minutes later as she began to toss all of her belongings haphazardly into her bag and zipped it up, the zip on it barely holding the bulging contents.

Both Fred and George murmured their agreements.

"I told you to eat before we came here." Sutton scolded her as she got out of her seat, "Come on then."

Her dark-haired friend grinned excitedly as she hopped up and swung her bag over her left shoulder before she turned to the twins, "Are you two coming?"

"I suppose." They answered together as they each began gathering up their parchment and quills, stuffing bits and pieces into random pockets.

"Your complete lack of organisation skills are appalling," Sutton told the three as she turned on her heel and began walking out of the library, very aware of the three sets of footsteps trailing behind her as she exited the library.

The hall was empty, but she was sure that it had something to do with the majority of the students heading home for the holidays.

She had overheard Professor Sprout mention that almost everyone was leaving for Christmas this year.
