The Charms classroom was alight with chatter and surprisingly, it was mostly the Slytherin's talking. Even a week later, they were still not over the elation of their scraped victory by the hands of Ezra Sutton and with a move that none on the Slytherin team had been successful with since 1623.
Sutton, who was squashed in a seat between Fred and Phoenix huffed as she flicked her wand, muttering the incantation under her breath, only for the bullfrog in front of her to continue to croak extraordinarily louder than it had been moments earlier.
"Silencio." She growled in frustration when the spell did not work once more.
"Y'know, it's because you're not using the proper movements." George commented as he glanced over his brother's head at the girl, "It's more of a swish and then a downwards swipe immediately after."
Fred snickered quietly under his breath at the look on Sutton's face when his twin silenced his own frog on his first attempt, causing her head to drop onto the table as she groaned in frustration.
"I'm never going to get it!" She exclaimed, her voice muffled by the desk, "I'm going to get a T on the Practical."
"Come on, Ez." Lyra shouted from across the classroom, startling their poor Professor who clutched his chest while scolded the girl, "You managed to turn that beetle into a pocket watch."
"And that's because I'm actually good at Transfiguration." The brunette moaned as she finally lifted her head from the surface of the desk.
"You're pronouncing the word correctly for once." Phoenix told her, "You just need to adjust your hand movements as Weasley said."
Sutton sighed before she turned her attention back to the frog, her eyes narrowing as she stared at the creature.
"Silencio." She uttered and quickly modified her wand movements to how George had shown her. Lyra cheered loudly and George leaned over to pat the girl on her back when the frog went silent mid croak.
"Nice job," George told her once again when they exited the Charms classroom where the third year were lined up. Sutton made eye contact with Harry Potter whose laughter at his friend's words immediately ceased when he saw her and the look on his face turned murderous.
Annoyed at the look, Sutton mumbled thanks to George and rolled her eyes at the Gryffindor who went out of his way to shove into her as he made his way into the classroom when Professor Flitwick nodded them in.
"Grow up, Potter!" She scoffed over her shoulder as she readjusted her rucksack and continued down the hall, ignoring the scathing look she received from him in response to her words, "Bloody tosser."

Sutton's dark blue robe billowed behind her as she walked quickly across the pitch. She was utterly furious that she ignored her Defence Professor's call as she stormed past him and Potter, the latter of whom quickly stepped from her path when he caught sight of the look on her face.
