y/n pov:

it's been two months since i've been living with jack and the gang and honestly things couldn't have been better. jack and i got a lot more closer and have been hanging out more.

yes he's still with ellie, i have to admit, it hurt me a lot seeing them still together especially since my feelings for jack have developed a lot over the past months.

but i tried not to let it get to me and tried being happy for him.

anyways, today i have a doctor's appointment and i was a bit nervous but also excited because today i am 6 months pregnant and i will be finding out the gender of my baby

i wanted to wait a while to find out because i was a bit nervous, so the doctor told me that was fine and now here i am

my stomach has been growing more, i am now growing a round bump and have been feeling more kicks.

i adored the baby kicks so much they were so relaxing

"you ready to go?" sophia asks me as we finish eating our breakfast. "yeah" i say as i stand up from the table grabbing both of our plates and placing them in the dish washer.

we wave goodbye to the guys as we head out the door and call an uber since they were planning on taking the car today.

- at the doctor -

"y/n y/l/n?"

i hear my name being called by the nurse. me and sophia get up from our seats and follow her into the room.

"okay so the doctor will be here in a minute" she says looking through her clipboard "and your going to be getting an ultra sound done then you will be getting your results at the end" she finishes as she gives us a smile.

"good luck" she says shutting the door and walking out "thank you" i say weakly.

we wait for the doctor to come in, "you okay?" sophia speaks. "yeah.. just a bit nervous.. never in a million years would i have thought that i'd end up like this" i say and look down at my feet.

"you will be okay... i think what you need to do is to go out and search for him" sophia slowly says causing me to look up.

memories of ethan started to flood in, i felt like crying but i knew i couldn't because i had to stay strong. but sophia was right, it's also his baby too. my thoughts were interrupted by the doctor walking in.

"y/n?" she says as i nod

"okay so i'm going to need you to come lay down right here" she says as i get up and sit down on the bed that was next to a machine with a computer screen.

"so when was your last appointment?" she asks me, "about 3-4 weeks ago" i respond as she writes on the clipboard. i then lay down and she lifts my shirt up exposing my stomach.

she then gets the gel and puts it on me causing me to flinch a little. "everything okay?" she asks.

"yeah it's just a little cold" she smiles and looks at the monitor. "oh my god you can see it covering its little face!!" she says as sophia replies "ITS ADORABLE!!!"
