y/n pov:

the rest of the day we did nothing but rest, after all we were all still out of energy. it was currently 4:00 and since i didn't have an opportunity earlier to call max and talk to him about what the hell happened last night

i decided to call him, i went outside and unlocked my phone as i pressed on his contact.

ring ring ri-

"hello?" i hear him

"max, hey"

"oh hey y/n, did you wanna talk to me?"

"actually yes, do you remember me and you kissing at some point last night" i asked now sounding serious.

the line goes quiet for a second

"y-yes?"

"oh my god" i sigh as i close my eyes

"look max i don't want you to take this the wrong way but i don't see you like that. you are a great guy and all but i love you as a friend only and i can assure you will find a girl who's gonna make you happy.. but that girl isn't me"

"is it because of him?" i can hear the sadness in his voice

"yes max, i'm sorry but my feelings are for jack"

"o-oh. well i have to go now, bye"

"bye, max" i hang up

"was that max?" i turn around and see jack coming outside

"yeah.. i just wanted to ask him about last night... and to make it clear to him that i see him as a friend and nothing more"

he smiles at me, "you're so beautiful you know that right?"

i blush, "oh my god stop" i slightly laugh trying to hide my face. "if anything, you're the reason why i'm always turning red" i reply with a smirk making his face burn up

"ha! look at those two trying to flirt with each other" we both turn our heads and see finn standing at the door eating chips

"i swear you guys can never leave us alone for atleast a minute huh?" jack scoffs as he goes over to him and takes the bag of chips

"well no shit we can hear y'all speaking, just get to the point and date already so we can hear more than just you two verbalizing with each other!"

my jaw then drops, i look over at jack with the same expression dropping the chips

"FINN!" i yell causing him to laugh uncontrollably pointing at jack, "yeah it's not my name that you're gonna be yelling out"

"i hate you" i smack his arm

"what are y'all doing out here" sophia then comes outside, "oh you know just third wheeling" she turns to me and smiles "ooo get it girl!"

we stay out there for another hour just talking about the most stupidest shit ever until it started to get more dark

"well it's getting late and i'm tired as fuck good night, jack i'll be waiting for you" he gets up and goes inside the house

"looks like you're the one who's gonna be yelling tonight" i wink, "you know it!"

sophia then yawns "i think ima go too, goodnight guys. and y/n i'll be expecting you too" she says as we both giggle
