jack's pov:

i really wasn't having it right now. ellie literally dragged me away from y/n and now she literally has me like i'm her fucking hostage or some shit.

- 20 min later -

its been a while now and all ellie has been doing is making sure i wouldn't leave her. "ellie... i think it's time for me to go" "what? are you crazy?! but i'm having a good time baby!" "yes but i have to go look for y/n, i'm a little worried" i say

"what the fuck are you talking about" she spats i just glare at her. "look, i kinda have a lot going on right now maybe we can hang out some other day?" she rolls her eyes and pushes me

"fuck you jack" she says as she walks away from me

i just sigh and pull out my phone and text y/n

to: y/n

hey y/n, i'm sorry about ellie she just wouldn't let me go look for you but she's gone now. where are you?

i was hoping she'd respond soon.

y/n pov:

i was walking with max next to the beach, we were just talking to get to know each other a little more.

i stopped in my tracks when i felt more kicks come from my stomach. "are you okay?" max asks sounding a bit worried.

"uh yeah it's just you know stomach problems" i say. i didn't want to tell him about my pregnancy just yet because i needed to see if i can trust him.

"your very gorgeous you know" he says smiling at me "nice joke" i say and laugh. "no i'm being dead serious, i'm surprised that jack guy hasn't left his girlfriend for you" i look down awkwardly.

"jack? no way, he'd never like me. i mean his girlfriend is really pretty and there's no way in hell i can compete with her"

"are you crazy? look at yourself, your literally a princess" he says and i couldn't help but blush
i then heared my phone vibrate.

i pulled it out and saw that i had 1 missed call from sophia and 1 newly message from jack.

from: jack

hey y/n, i'm sorry about ellie she just wouldn't let me go look for you but she's gone now. where are you?

i text back

heyy jack! don't worry about it, i'm down at the beach i'm leaving right now anyways just let me know where your at and i'll go over there :)

from jack:

i'm by the enterance where the ticket thing is at

i leave him on read and put my phone away. "listen i'm suppose to meet jack back up at the pier, maybe we can catch up some other time?" i say sweetly

max smiles at me once again "ofcourse, just text me" he says and pulls me into a hug "it was nice meeting you y/n" "you too" "so uh bye i guess?" "bye max" i smile and start making my way up to the pier.

jack's pov:

i look around to see if i can spot y/n, i then see her coming up i smile at her and go up to her.
i couldn't help but run to her and hugged her tightly "i'm sorry" i start. "it's okay you don't need to apologize" she says to me

"yeah but today was suppose to be for us and she just came and took me from hanging out with you"

"jack. it's okay. you don't need to give me an explanation" she smiled slightly. i looked at her and smiled back.

"let's go home" i say as we start walking towards the exit. "so what were you doing down there anyways?" "i was with max" she says smiling a little. i felt a bit sad but tried to play it cool "oh.. that's.. that's nice" i say frowning a little.

"um yeah" she says awkwardly. we call an uber and it got here in less than 20 minutes, the ride back home was awkwardly quiet.

- back at the house -

we got back at the house at around 10 pm and saw that they were also back since the car was parked in the drive way. "well looks like they got here before us" i say as we walk to the front door and open it. revealing finn throwing pillows at jaeden and chosen while sophia and jeremy were jamming music on the speaker and wyatt looking annoyed just sitting there.

"WE ARE BACKKKKK" i yelled through the loud music causing the it to stop and all of them looking at us surprised. "oh hey there, how was your date huh?" finn says smirking at us.

i can see y/n's cheek got a little shade of red  making me blush. "finn shut the fuck up! and it was great... until we saw ellie over there and basically ruined it"

"i don't see why your still with her if you know she's always trying to control your life" i heared jaeden say. i must say, i had to agree. "well uhh yeah but maybe she just... wants to protect me?" i lie knowing damn well she really was controlling over me. i mean when we first started dating she was the sweetest thing ever.

until a few months ago she became really clingy with me, and wouldn't like me hanging out with my friends. she didn't like the fact that sophia was the only girl living with us because she thought i was cheating on her.

i thought that it was normal and that it's just a thing most couples go through but no. it wasn't. and i knew it wasn't healthy.

i can see y/n in the corner of my eye just looking down and biting her fingers. i just wanted to kiss her so bad but i knew damn well i couldn't and i hated that so much. omg get it through your head jack, she likes max not you i snap back to reality when i felt a pillow get thrown at my face causing me to almost fall back.

"fuck you finn" i roll my eyes "damn when" he says. "fack is real!" i hear y/n and sophia yell
