something just was not right. I thought as I followed where Ella was running. To my surprise she ran into my house, I caught her scent and followed her to the bathroom only to find her sat on the floor of the bathroom sobbing.

"you ok?" I say stepping into the room and closing the door behind me.

"what do you think!" she sobs at me.

She looks miserable and exhausted.

"ok come on," I say walking over to her.

"what are you doing!" she yells as I lift her into my arms and she begins flailing.

"I'm putting you upstairs for some rest, you overdid it with your wolf for the first time so you need to go take a nap and you will wake up much better," he says carrying me from the bathroom.

"where are you taking me I don't live here," she groans trying to get loose.

"no, you don't. I do now let's get you to my room for a nap." I say as nicely as I can while trying to stop her hitting me in the face, finally she caves and goes limp, by the time I get her to my room she is asleep in my arms so I lay her gently in bed and pull the covers over her and head back out to the training grounds.

"she ok?" Mori asks as soon as he sees me.

"she overdid it I put her in a room," I say matter of factly.

"she challenged you and Nova would have won," Mori says with a smirk.

"that may be the case but right now she is sleeping. As you were I have a business to attend." I growl walking away from the mumbling crowd.

"in your bed?" Mori asks pointedly I choose to ignore the tone of his voice and raised eyebrows even though in this case he is correct.

I'm not entirely sure what's going on but the one thing I do know is that Ella laid upstairs has Nova the strongest Alpha our kind has any memory of. She is a bedtime story and a historic tale.

I shake my head trying to collect my thoughts while heading to my office. Despite recent distractions, I have a lot of Alpha business to get on with.

For the next hour or so I work in my office until I suddenly jump out of my chair as the sound of screaming resonates through my head. I rush from my office only to see no one else responding. I get the instinctive feeling I know the source of the screaming and I waste no time rushing to the room I left her sleeping in. sure enough, Ella is laid on the bed silently thrashing around in her sleep while the sounds of her nightmare play through my head. I shake her arm trying to wake her but when she does not stir I sit on her bed by her side and hold her still. Her thrashing gradually calms and her sounds go quiet, after a few minutes I begin to get tired and I try to move away from her but every time I lose contact she stirs and thrashes again.

"Nova, can you hear me?" I command in my alpha voice after a few minutes the wolf rings loudly in my head.

"yes Alpha," she says proud and clear.

"you accept my pack?" I ask now confused.

"yes Alpha," she says before disconnecting from my mind.

For the next hour, I lay trying to calm Ella without any more contact from Nova. I can't let her go I al laid with her in my arms and unable to move much, I got sleepy and fought it pretty hard but even though I had tried hard I still I fell asleep holding her in my arms.

"what the hell?" a female voice shouts from beside me somewhere for a second I am confused but then my brain begins working and my eyes fly open as I push myself away from her, no wonder she sounded alarmed a had my arms around her waist and her shirt halfway over her chest.

"I'm sorry I." I let go and move my hands behind my back.

"what the frick were you doing?" she shouts pulling her shirt down.

"you were having a nightmare the screaming was in my head the only way you went quiet was when I held you I guess I accidentally fell asleep.

"what?" she screeches higher than I thought possible while scrambling off the bed.

"ask your wolf she will tell you," I say and my wolf chuffs in agreement.

She looks confused and although she is concentrating for a seconds before her eyes widen and she gasps.

"see told you," I say with a smug smile.

She glares at me and gets up from my bed.

"Hey, where are you going?" I say startled by her rush to leave,

"out of your bedroom and back to morning training," she growls stomping out the room.

"Hey wait you don't even know where you are going," I shout taking chase after her.

I must be out of my mind because it feels an awful lot like my wolf enjoys being around her.
