"Still no news," Mori says I grunt a response, I am sick of hearing that we have got no closer to finding my mate and pup, I was in the gym where I seem to be spending all my free time at the moment, well here or with Analese I swear I wouldn't have kept my sanity if it wasn't for that sweet little girl. Well I say kept my sanity, my wolf is going off the deep end and I'm straining to keep him in check.

"Alpha there was a sighting, apparently Ella got in a dark car from the Dog and Doublet car park, the driver was a male alpha wolf, they seemed friendly but he carried her to the car, no further sightings have been seen and no one could identify the registration plate," Mori says relaying information, we made the decision all information would be passed through Mori in case my wolf freaks out.

"who is this information from?" I ask punching the bag in front of me harder.

"Landlord sir he had an inter pack marriage crossing two-pack lands so he was observing the car park in case any of the wolves pack got wind of the wedding and tried to cause trouble." inter pack marriage is a dangerous business so I can agree with the need for caution this checks out.

"so what she ditched me for a better offer?" I ask with a growl.

"problem sir, the wolf is protected under the Argon Family pack."

"fuck!" I growl knowing full well if she is moved to Argon pack lands I will never see her again.

"don't give up sir, our informants say no one has entered pack lands in the last three days so she has not been moved we just need to wait for the male or her to re-enter society or reach out to a medic," Mori says.

"if she doesn't reach out for a medic herself and the pup could be in danger but if she does they she or the people she is with may know she will be found," I say thinking out loud.

"but that is under the assumption she does not want to be found, perhaps she believes you will not want to find her," Mori says and this gives me more to ponder.

"I want missing posters on every lamp post and billboard across the whole of the human town, if she is out there I want her to know her mate is looking for her and wanting her back!" I growl punching the bag again.

"we will put husband on the posters, wolves will understand and humans will not question if anyone sees her they will phone a mobile number I will answer Alpha."

"Good now go, I'm gonna hit the showers I have a tea party to attend this afternoon and I do not intend to be late," I say grabbing a drink and heading for the showers, I don't miss the smile Mori displays before leaving the room.

My shower is done efficiently before I dress myself in a suit I was specifically requested to wear and I make my way to the very pink and frill bedroom of my little Lese.

"Alpha! Alpha!" she sequels excitedly pulling me over to the table where she is sat with a few teddy bears and two other girls.

"See I told you Alpha would come," she says pulling her tongue out at the two girls who look starstruck to see me.

"I would never miss a princess tea party," I say with a smile before bowing to the two young girls who giggle and lower their heads back to me, I take a seat on the very small child chair I am offered and I tip my cup to Lese before taking a pretend sip from the empty cup, she giggles excitedly and offers me a real pink icing cookie. It looks like more sugar than a cookie and I mentally prepare myself for how much I need to work out to get this cookie out of my system but none the less I eat it in one bite with a very over-exuberant yum sound which made her look very proud I am guessing she had made the cookies.

"more tea Alpha?" she says holding up the teapot.

"oh yes please," I say once I swallowed the cookie, the two girls join in too eating the cookies and drinking fake tea, it was a truly lovely way to spend the evening. And when it finally finished in time for bed I put Lese to bed like I always do. It's only when I go to bed that sleep will not come easily.

One thing I did not expect from taking a mate would be the longing, not just the pain of not being around them but the physical need to be close to them, to hold them, to... well you know be Mates. He longing to include them in everything you do no matter how mundane you want them to spend time doing it with you too. My pack was now beginning to notice something was wrong but Mori was handling them saying I was working on some very important pack related business which I suppose is not too far from the truth because I am beginning to be afraid I will not survive past the month without Ella, I once again allow myself to slip into the dark place where I realize if I had not said the things I did she would not have left if my actions had not been so anger-driven then I wouldn't have pushed her away if I would have let my frustration be just my frustration instead of not targetting her I would still have her in my arms like that amazing morning we spent bound together with my Knott. I long so badly to go back to that morning, to handle things differently and I vow if I ever get her back I will do everything I possibly can to have her close to me.
