Aiden

"WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE!" I saw smashing my desk against the wall.

"we still cannot trace her past the forest Alpha." Mori commands getting information from the tracking division that are searching as we speak.

"how did she slip from the pack!" I growl punching the wall where the desk crumples on the floor.

"she knows the guard pattern Alpha she waited till we were sleeping." Mori says I punch the wall again not caring that my hand is now bleeding.

My wolf stalks its cage waiting for a way out so I can rip something to shreds but im trying to keep my mind open at all times for her.

"what if she is in trouble? An alphas mate and pup are valuable." I growl kicking my chair across the room.

"we will not know unless someone places a ransom." Mori says while standing back and watching me, he has already seen me destroy my bedroom and a meeting room hell I would have torn his house apart had I not tried to follow her scent with no luck.

"I need her." I growl tearing curtains from their pole.

"we have our best men looking Alpha." Mori says as he ducks a particularly awry flying lamp.

"I cant do this." I say throwing my laptop with a loud crunch as it hits the floor.

"Alpha try to stay calm." Mori says but makes no effort to move.

"stop calling me that." I growl slamming another lamp which crashes through the window landing on the ground much to the shock of nearby wolves.

"Aiden we will find her if she wants to be found." he says calmly.

"what if she chooses not to." I say letting my voice break on the words. I had everything planned today I was going to Moris house early, I decided the best way to say sorry was to show I was sorry and show her I care about her customs and realise she does not understand mine but that I would learn hers and she learned mine, the ring I prepared burns a hole in my pocket as I run through my mind exactly what should have happened, I would propose to her like humans do and ask her to marry me, no matter her answer I would tell her I would spend the rest of our lives showing her and my pup that they are the most important wolves I ever knew, I would led her through the pack introducing her as my mate and proudly showing off her scent mixed with mine then I would show her the bedroom I had prepared, not my room or a guest room but our room where she could decorate however she wanted, I even made her an art studio to show how much I wanted her with me. Then I would spend the day doing or going anywhere she wanted if she still needed space I would give it her or I would do anything else she wanted I would shower her with kisses or hold her hand and let her know I loved her.

"I love her." I say to myself in surprise. Mori stands back silent as ever but I see his face react in sympathy. Why could I not realise that in Moris kitchen last week why didn't I tell her yesterday when I smelled our pup or all the times I had her smiling before me or when she was begging for me through out her haze. Why couldn't I just say those three words a million times to let her know she would always be mine? Instead I pushed her away like a fucking idiot.

"leave me. Come back with news." I say to Mori who nods before quickly leaving presumably before I throw something else in his general direction, I have to hand it to him he is amazing at ducking and dodging but then again he is mated to my sister I guess he would have to be.

"my heart felt like it would never beat again but it had been like that since Mori pack linked me early this morning. He had risen with Grey who was not settling well like any baby I ever knew and was preparing a bottle when he saw the note Ella had left, those words still sting.
