I woke up in a hospital room, I had lost my baby I and almost died I felt like hell and now I was being told that I had roughly half an hour to leave or my Alpha would be there for me, thanks to a few years ago there are now things set in place to help Omegas who do not wish to return to their Alphas and since I was pretty sure Aiden would kill me for 1 not telling him I was pregnant, 2 contacting a pack member without permission and 3 loosing the baby i feel like if he catches up with me here bad shit will happen so not even hours after the most terrifying and upsetting experience of my life I am bundled into the back of a black SUV and driven down a highway I don't recognise on my way back to Shane and Dannys house, I was told the kids were not at home thank god because Danny decided we all deserved a break, look how that turned out, but im glad none of the kids saw me the condition I was in, my stomach now flat was sore and a blaring symbol of my now hollow soul I was certain nothing about my life would ever feel the same again, I didn't want to get pregnant I wasn't even sure I wanted kids and i certainly wasn't in a stable relationship to start deciding those things but just like everything else where my life is concerned that tall dark and handsome alpha somehow turned my life upside down and took that choice from me. Mumbled whispers in the front stole my attention suddenly.

"what are you mumbling about?" I said slightly angrily.

"sorry we thought you were asleep you had gone so quiet"

"not an excuse so out with it" I snap and he swallows harshly before speaking.

"your next heat will be in a few weeks now your not....." Shane begins but seems to swallow his tongue as Danny takes the baton to continue.

"you need to be with an alpha you see or bad shit will happen" he says gripping the steering wheel extra hard.

"what are you trying to say that I have to go back to Aiden?" I ask hoping that's not correct. When they both go quiet I suddenly burst with anger at them though I am not sure all the anger is directed for them I think I just need to get it out.

"oh I see I lose a baby and suddenly you guys don't want me around anymore."

I'm seething and gripping my hands into fists now I'm pretty sure steam is coming from my ears.

"no that's not it at all really.." Shane tries to reason but now I take him in full with his hands on that small bump and I realize I am in the way of their perfect little family, stupid me forever bringing my bullshit to their door in the first place.

"Stop the car!" I say grabbing my stuff.

"don't be silly we are in the middle of nowhere it will be dark soon and.." Danny starts but I don't give him a chance.

"STOP THE DAMN CAR!" I growl in Nova's voice and the car comes to a screeching halt with the car behind us swerving to avoid our bumper by inches a loud honk and barely audible swear word to tell me the driver was not happy about the maneuver but I did not care I gathered my things and hopped out. I got out of the road and disappeared before they could stop me not that Shane would go far to track me down and Danny would not leave his side, pushing away all my pain and fear I ran through the woods gripping my bag with my laptop, notebook and pencils im not sure why but its the first thing Danny grabbed to take with me to the hospital and now more than ever I was glad to have it, I ran, my lungs burned my feet which I realise are bare and probably cut up from the ground im running across stung like a bitch and the only item of clothing I was wearing were a clean pair of panties and Dannys huge oversized shirt hoodie he had thrown over me to hide my scent when I removed the hospital gown, when I looked up next it was dark and I had no idea where I was by the time I found my way back to the road it was dark and empty Danny and Shane clearly driving away and the moon was rising higher in the sky saying it was far too dark for many people to be travelling, I walked along the side of the road for what felt like ages until finally I saw a pair of headlights in the distance, I waved my arms like a mad woman and held my breath when the car pulled along side and the driver jumped out staring at me, it wasn't until it was too late i saw the passenger had got out and made a dash for me.
