Sid woke up the next morning without waking Nadia. He throws on a pair of shorts and heads down to the kitchen. He was going to make her breakfast in bed. He heads into the kitchen finding Kris already in there. A few minutes later Jake walks in.
"Looks like we had the same idea." Sid says.
"Breakfast in bed for our Valentine." Jake says.
"Yup, if you guys help I can make extra." Kris says.
"We can help." Sid says.
"Yes we can." Jake says.
"Did Justin and Geno go to practice?" Kris asks.
"Yup." Jake and Sid both reply.
They set about making breakfast. Kris made the pancakes while Sid made the eggs and Jake made the scrapple. When they finished they separated it onto separate trays.
"See you guys later when its time for the Gala tonight." Kris says.
"Yup see you guys later." Sid says.
"Yup. Have a good day." Jake says.
They all nod. They then head their separate ways. Sid heads into his room. Nadia was still sleeping. Sid sits the tray of food on the nightstand and then slowly climbs in bed with Nadia. He nuzzles her.
"Good morning, Happy Valentines Day." Nadia says.
"Good morning, Happy Valentines day." Sid says kissing her head.
"I smell food." Nadia says.
"Yes I made breakfast for us to eat in bed." Sid says.
"Good because I am famished." Nadia says.
Sid laughs as he grabs the tray. They sit there and eat together. When they finished Sid put the tray off to the side to take down to the kitchen later.
"Better?" Sid asks.
"Yes much. Now its Valentines day and I have some things for you." Nadia says.
"As do I." Sid says.
Sid and Nadia both get up and grab their gifts for each other. They then sit back down on the bed.
"You go first baby." Sid says.
"Okay. I kinda went with a theme." Nadia replies.
"Okay baby." Sid says.
She hands him the bag. Inside was a few different photo books she had made. One of him from hockey, one of him and the kids and one from their vow renewal.
"I hope you like it baby." Nadia says.
"I do baby. Now here is yours and I went with a theme." Sid says.
Nadia opens the bag. Inside was a key to my heart necklace set with Sid's name and birthstone on the key and Nadia's name and birthstone on the heart, matching Mr. and Mrs. Crosby hoodies, jersey's and robes.
"I love it and I love you." Nadia says.
"I love you too. Thank you for loving me and the sport I play." Sid says.
"Baby I love you and I love hockey just as much." Nadia asks.
"I know it's not easy loving a hockey player and being on the road a lot." Sid says.
"As long as we are together I don't care." Nadia says.
"I know baby me too, now what do you want to do? We have the whole day until the gala. Ruth and Claude are keeping the kids for us." Sid says.
