The next morning Nadia and Sid woke snuggled together. Sid kisses her head.
"Good morning baby." Nadia says.
"Good morning my angel." Sid says.
"I love waking up wrapped in your arms." Nadia says.
"Me too. Especially when you don't have to get up for anything." Sid says.
"No skate today?" Nadia replies.
"Nope so today we are going to lay here and rest." Sid says.
"Okay." Nadia says.
"Yes Ruth is taking the kid to the pool so it will be just us for a little bit." Sid says.
"Ohh bubble bath for two?" Nadia asks.
"Sounds good to me." Nadia says.
Madison gets up and goes and sets up the bath. A few minutes later Sid joins her. They sink into the tub. Nadia leans back against Sid and he wraps his arms around her.
"I set the alarm." Nadia says.
"Okay baby." Sid says.
They soak in the tub until the alarm goes off. They then get up shower and change into something comfortable. She then goes and packs except for what she would be wearing to the game. She goes to find Sid he was dressed and sitting on the edge of the bed.
"You okay?" Nadia asks.
"Yes just waiting for you so we can go eat with the gang. Kris and the boys ordered lunch." Sid replies.
"Good then we can play with the kids before we lay down for our nap." Nadia says.
"Sounds good." Sid says.
They head out into the living room. A few minutes later everyone joins them. Ruth had just gotten back with the kids. Madison, Nadia, Taylor, Autumn and Anna head to get them bathed and changed for lunch and then their naps.
"Good I got you guys alone so I can talk to you about something." Jake says as they prepare the food buffet style.
"What's up?" Sid asks.
"Yeah everything okay?" Kris asks.
"Yeah its all good. But we are heading to Vegas tonight after the game and it will be 8 months since Taylor and I got married there." Jake says.
"Awww that is a big deal." Justin says.
"Yes it is. We help you do fun thing." Geno says.
"I want to do something as a group and then something special just the two of us." Jake says.
"Well you can book the honey moon suite for tonight." Sid says.
"Really?" Jake asks.
"Yes really, I am captain so I can make the arrangements. Besides Taylor is my little sister and I would do anything for her and because you make her so happy that includes you." Sid says.
"Thanks." Jake says.
The guys all agree to help figure something special for them to do. They finish getting the buffet set up while they wait for the girls and the kids to come back.
The girls take the kids into the bathroom. IT was the biggest one in the penthouse. They put all the kids in together. They all set out to get them bathed and cleaned.
"So what are you ladies planning to do for the break?" Madison asks.
"Well you know I will be with you Kris and Sid." Nadia says.
"Yes we plan on staying out and supporting them as well." Taylor says.
"Yeah same with me and Justin." Autumn says.
"And me and Geno as well." Anna says.
"You guys sure you don't want to go somewhere else?" Madison asks.
"Yeah like Hawaii or the Caribbean?" Nadia asks.
Taylor, Autumn and Anna shake their heads no. They finish bathing the kids. They then get them dried off and changed into what they would be wearing tomorrow night. They then head out to the dinning room. The boys had the buffet set up and waiting. They all dive in. They had a little bit of everything. They all sit down and eat and chat and laugh just relaxing. When they finished the girls cleaned up. They head into the fort and play games with the kids until it was time for their naps. Nadia and Sid head into their room. Nadia hangs up his suit. Sid was already in bed. Nadia climbs in beside him and ends up snuggling with him curling up on his chest. Sid kisses her head. They snuggle together falling into a much needed sleep.
A few hours later the alarm goes off and Aid and Nadia get up. Sid puts on his suit and Nadia puts on her jersey and jeans. Sid grabs the luggage. They head out to the living room. Once everyone was out and ready they head to the bus. They get on and head to the arena. Sid , Justin, Jake, Mriemand Geno all head into the locker room. Madison, Autumn, Taylor, Nadia and Anna along with the kids and Ruth head to grab food. They all grab something and head down to the runway. Ruth took the kids up to suite to watch from there. They eat while they watch warmups. Thirty minutes later the guys come off the ice. Nadia goes and snags a kiss from Sid . They then head out onto the ice the anthem is sung and then the first period starts. It was a crazy one. There were a lot of penalties on both teams. Towards the end of the first Arizona scores. The period ends. After a brief intermission the second period starts. A few minutes in and Arizona takes Penalty. During the Powerplay Rikkola goes down and scores.
"Rik ko la!" Madison says.
"Anyone need any cough drops?" Nadia asks.
"That was an awesome goal." Taylor says.
"Yes it was." Autumn says.
"We lit them up and tied the game." Anna says.
Not even a minute later Jake goes and scores.
"Hell yeah my hubby scored." Taylor says.
"That was awesome." Nadia says.
"We scored two goals in 40 seconds." Madison says.
"Keep it up boys. "Anna says.
"Yes please." Autumn says.
The period continues on. Towards the end Arizona scores again.
"Oh come on guys that was goal tender interference." Madison yells.
"Yes it was. That player slid into Murray hitting him with his skate. You can't do that." Taylor says.
Coach challenged it and the it was ruled no goal.
"Knew that was coming off." Anna says.
"So did we all." Autumn says.
The second ends and after another brief intermission the third starts. Arizona scores towards the end tying the game. It goes into overtime. Halfway through OT Arizona takes another penalty. It was 4 on 3. During this Phil goes and scores winning the game. The girls cheer. They then head to wait for the boys. Ruth meets them down there with the kids. A little bit later the boys come out and they all head to the bus. They head to the arena. Once everyone was on board along with the luggage they take off for Vegas. A little bit later they land in Vegas. They head to the hotel. They all head up to the penthouse. They all head inside. Jake and Taylor with the kids help build their fort. They then head off to their suite for the night. Nadia and Sid kiss the kids tucking them in. They then head back to their room with the twins. Sid had bought the luggage in. They both climb into bed.
"So we decided to stay here tomorrow night after the game and fly to Cali on Sunday." Sid says.
"Sounds good to me." Nadia says.
Sid kisses her head covering her with blankets. They then both fall into a much needed sleep.
