The next morning Nadia and Sid woke up when the alarm went off.
"Guess we are leaving for Omaha, huh?" Nadia asks.
"Yes we leave in 45 minutes." Sid replies.
"Okay baby." Nadia says.
They both get up and get dressed. Sid grabs the luggage and they both head down to the living room. Everyone meets there. The girls get the kids up, dressed and ready.
"Everyone ready?" Sid asks.
Everyone nods their heads.
"Lets head to my hometown." Jake replies.
"Can't wait to see it." Kris replies.
"Me either it will be fun." Justin replies.
"Let go." Geno says.
They head out to the shuttle that was waiting for them. Once everyone was on board they head to the airstrip. They get out. The boys load the plane with the luggage while the girls get the kids on the plane . Once everyone was on board and they were cleared they take off.
"It is a 6 hour flight so we should nap." Madison says.
"Yes that is a good idea. That way once we all get settled we can go out and do something." Autumn says.
"Yes I agree." Anna says.
"So do I." Nadia says.
" Yes cus Jake and I have a fun afternoon planned." Taylor says.
The girls get the kids tucked in and settled for their naps. They then sit back in their seats, relax and snooze the whole plane ride.
Six hours later they land in Omaha. They gather up the kids and the luggage and get off the plane. Jake had a car waiting for them. They all pile in and Jake drives them to his house on river.
"Wow this house is awesome." Sid says.
"Yes it is." Geno replies.
"Yeah its a pretty awesome house." Justin says.
"Yeah its going to be cool to stay here for the next few days." Kris says.
"Thanks guys. Welcome to my home." Jake replies.
They all go inside. Jake shows them each to the room they would be staying in. Sid and Nadia take their luggage inside theirs. They then change into something. They head out. They all meet in the living room.
"Uncle Jake can we build a fort?" Olivia asks.
"Yes can we please?" Micah asks.
"Of course you guys can. We all will help you." Jake replies.
"Come on guys lets build that fort." Taylor says.
They all gather things and pitch in and build the kids their fort. It would be their bedroom for the next few days. When they finished they headed out to the car.
"So what is on the agenda today?" Madison asks.
"We are going to the zoo and aquarium and then we are taking a dinner cruise on a real life paddle boat." Taylor says.
"Oh that will be fun." Anna says.
"Another zoo checked off our list." Autumn says.
"Yup." Nadia says.
They arrive at the zoo and Jake parks. They all head inside. Kris pays for them. They go in and head walk around. They see a variety of different animals from red pandas, to elephants, lions, tigers, leopards, and many more. They also get on some of the rides around like the train, skyfari, carousel and many more. They stop at one of the food places and sit down and eat lunch. They then head into the aquarium and look around. The kids loved it and so did the adults. Finally they arrived back to where they started. They let the kids pick out a few things in the gift shop . They then head back to the car. Jake drove them around showing them a few different things. They then head down to the river. Jake parks and they head out onto the dock.
"Oh we have to get a picture with our feet in the mighty Mississippi." Nadia says.
"Absolutely." Taylor replies.
"We can have one of the guys take it." Autumn says.
"Yeah they can get one of us all looking up with our feet in the water." Nadia says.
"Sounds good." Anna replies.
"Kris can you take it?" Madison asks handing him her phone.
"Sure baby." Kris replies.
The girls all sit down on the dock and put their feet down in the river. They then look up and the guys all snap a picture of them with their phones. The girls then get up and put their shoes back on. They then board the paddle boat. They head to the dinning room and were able to grab seats on the open deck. They sit down.
"This is awesome." Sid replies.
"Yes when done need picture in front." Geno replies.
"Yes we do." Justin says.
"I agree. "Jake replies.
The boat takes off. A few minutes later the buffet was served. They all head to get plates. While they were eating they watch the scenery as the they float by. They each go and get seconds before getting desert. Once the food was put away the head on the sightseeing tour. The Dj comes out and the music starts. They all took the kids out on the dance floor and danced with them. Finally the cruise ended and they all get off the boat. They get a group picture in front of it. They then head back to the car and Jake drives home . When they get home the girls get the kids tucked into their fort. From the flying and the walking at the zoo and the dancing the kids went down fairly easy. The gang then heads out onto Jake's deck. He had a fire pit. J ake lights a fire and they all sit around. It was nice with the breeze coming in off the water.
"So what is on the agenda tomorrow." Justin asks.
"Gonna take my boat out onto the water and do some jet skiing, wake boarding and other water activities." Jake says.
"Sounds like fun." Geno says.
"Yeah it does." Kris replies.
"I am down." Sid says.
"Yeah we can grill out on the river for lunch. It will be fun. Jake has a pontoon boat with a slide." Taylor says.
"Wow the kids will love that." Nadia says.
"Yes they will." Anna says.
"We can sunbathe a little too." Autumn says.
"Perfect day." Madison replies.
"Yeah we can grill out here when we get back and just have a chill day. We will go to my parents house for their massive fourth of July party there with fireworks." Jake says.
"Sounds like a plan." Geno says.
"Yeah then we can head off to Justin's." Kris says.
"Yeah he is next. Then we can make our way back to Cole Habour." Sid says.
"Actually Autumn and I are going to take you guys exploring. We are going to do Seattle, Forks and then Alaska." Justin says.
"Oh fun." The girls all say.
"Awesome." The other guys say.
They sit around the fire just chatting and enjoying the time spent with friends. Jake finally puts the fire out and they head inside. They bid each other goodnight. Nadia and Sid head to check on the kids first. They were all sleeping. Nadia and Sid then head to their room. They climb into bed.
"Wow what a day." Nadia says.
"I know. It was fun." Sid says.
"It was. I am glad we came to see Jake's hometown." Nadia replies.
"Me too baby." Sid says.
"I am happy that we are spending the fourth here in the USA." Nadia says.
"I know baby. Now get some sleep okay." Sid says.
"You too. " Nadia says.
"Goodnight baby, I love you." Sid says kissing her head.
"Goodnight baby, I love you too." Nadia says.
They snuggle together falling into a much needed sleep.
