The next morning Nadia and Sid woke up with the breeze blowing on their face.
"I cannot believe we are in Barcelona. I have always wanted to come here." Nadia says.
"Me too. It is a beautiful place. I am glad are hotel is on the beach and that our balcony overlooks the ocean." Sid says.
" Me too baby. So what is on the agenda today?" Nadia asks.
"Just to explore Barcelona. What we don't do today we will do tomorrow." Sid says.
"I am glad that we are staying here two days." Nadia says.
"Me too. Madrid two days and the Dubai two days." Sid replies.
"Then were are we going?" Nadia asks.
"I am not sure. I know you said being by the ocean helps with morning sickness so maybe somewhere by the water." Sid replies.
"We have to be back in Pittsburgh by the end of June." Nadia says.
"Why is that baby?" Sid asks.
"Cus me and the girls have tickets to see the New Kids on the Block." Nadia answers.
"Oh that is right. That is fine we will be." Sid says.
"Okay." Nadia says.
They both get up and get dressed. They then head out to the living room meeting everyone there.
"You guys want to eat first?" Sid asks.
"Yeah lets get the kids up first." Nadia says.
"We will order room service while you girls get them up and ready." Justin says.
"Okay." Autumn says.
"Get French Toast." Taylor says.
"Okay we will make sure that is on the menu." Jake replies.
The girls head and get the kids up, dressed and ready. The guys go and order a variety of different things off the menu. It arrives and they set it up as a buffet type. They all make the kids plates and then make themselves plates. They sit down and eat.
"So what is on the agenda today?" Nadia asks.
"Just exploring Barcelona." Sid says.
"Awesome I can't wait to go exploring." Autumn says.
"We have a few things lined up today and then a few things lined up tomorrow." Justin replies.
"Awesome. Let's eat so we can go explore." Anna says.
"Yes hungry, and then want explore." Geno says.
"Yeah I am hungry too." Taylor says.
"Let's eat." Jake says.
"It smells good." Madison says.
"And looks good too." Kris replies.
They all dig in. They eat every single bite. They then clean up. Once that was done they head down to the lobby of the hotel. They all pile into the bus that was waiting for them. They then head off on their first tour of the day. After a little bit of a drive they arrive at Gaudi's Casa Batlló in Barcelona, they park get off the bus and head inside. They meet up with their included smart guide, whom will walk them through this spectacular example of Gaudi's architectural style. The smart guide will take you through the museum's 5 distinct areas, such as the Noble floor, where the Batlló family once lived. Head up to the loft, which acted as a laundry room and cupboard, from which you can access the roof terrace. They see the unusual chimneys and 'Dragon Black' a model that depicts the dragon slain by St. George. As they wander around, notice the artist and architect's meticulous attention to detail in the door handles, skylights, and banisters. The girls were in their picture taken glory. They end up in the home's entrance hall, dominated by a dramatic staircase made to look like the spine of a huge animal. After the guided smart tour is finished, they wonder around a little bit more getting pictures. Finally they head back to the bus and get on. They head to their next tour. They arrive and meet their guide in Barcelona Old Town at their chosen time. They head into the Gothic Quarter to admire its medieval landmarks from the exterior, including the Catedral La Seu and Plaça de Sant Jaume. Continue into the Jewish Quarter to view highlights such as the Santa Maria del Pi church. Next, enjoy a transfer to the Old Port (Port Vell), and board a Turkish schooner or eco-boat for a cruise. Admire the sights along the coast before disembarking and get back onto the bus, where they travel to a helipad. Settle into a helicopter and after safety instructions, take off for a quick flightseeing trip for aerial views of the city, including Olympic Village and Old Town. The girls were taking lots of pictures. After landing back at the helipad. They get back onto the bus and head off on their next tour. They begin the journey to Montserrat. During the ride, their guide provides an overview of the area's religious significance. On arrival, take a guided tour of the basilica and monastery before enjoying free time to explore independently.
