The next morning Nadia woke up a little before the alarm went off. She made sure they were packed and ready to go for later that night. She had two outfits out for her one to wear to practice and one to wear to the game. She also presses one of Sid's suits. She ordered breakfast for her to eat. She had just finished when the alarm went off and Sid woke up.
"Good morning baby." Nadia says.
"Good morning baby." Sid says.
"I got the luggage ready and just what we are wearing today." Nadia replies.
"Good baby." Sid says getting up.
They both get ready and then head out to the living room. Once everyone comes out they head down to the bus and from there head to the arena. Sid and the boys head into the locker room. Nadia and the girls head to take seats to watch. A few minutes later practice starts.
"Oh yay Maatta is in full contact. " Autumn says.
"Yes I cleared him . But its up to coach if he plays." Madison says.
"Well that is good." Nadia says.
"Yes it is." Taylor says.
They sit there and watch practice.
"Important game tonight." Taylor says.
"I know. And Carolina plays tonight as well." Autumn says.
"Yes they play Tampa Bay but its their second game in back to backs." Nadia says.
"Yeah but hopefully they can pull out the win." Madison says.
A little bit later practice ends and the girls go and wait for the guys. A little bit after that they come out. They all head to the bus and head back to the hotel. They go inside.
"Let's order food and chill with the kids." Sid says.
"Sounds good." Justin says.
"Yeah we can let them pick a few movies to watch." Jake says.
"That is a great plan." Kris says.
The girls nod their heads in agreement. They order food and watch movies with the kids. The kids wanted to watch the Mighty Ducks trilogy. During the last movie the kids fell asleep. The adults head to their rooms for their nap. Sid and Nadia head into their room. They climb into bed and snuggle falling into a much needed nap.
A few hours later the alarm goes off and Sid and Nadia get up. Nadia puts on her jersey and jeans while Sid puts on his suit. Sid then makes sure they have everything. He grabs the luggage and they had out to the living room. Ruth had the kids up, dressed and ready. Once everyone comes out they head to the bus. They then head to the arena. Sid and the boys head into the locker room. Ruth takes the kids up to the suite to eat and watch the game. Taylor and the girls head to grab food. They get different things and then head to the runway. They eat as warm-ups were happening. Thirty minutes later the boys come off the ice. Sid comes over to Nadia.
"Good luck baby." Nadia says.
"Thanks baby." Sid says.
"I love you." Nadia says.
"I love you too." Sid replies.
"See you after the game. " Nadia says.
"Yes baby I will see you after the game." Sid says.
Sid kisses her twice before heading over to the guys. They head out onto the ice and the anthem is sung. Once the anthem is sung the first period starts. The game was going back and forth. The Penguins were firing everything they could at Renne but he was just stopping everything. Same for Murry.
