The next morning Nadia and Sid woke up when the alarm went off.
"I hate back to backs." Nadia says.
"I know." Sid says.
"They suck majorly." Nadia says.
"Yes they do baby." Sid says.
"Let's go down and do something with the kids since its nice out." Nadia replies.
"Yeah they will like that." Sid says.
"We can have brunch first." Nadia replies.
Sid gets up and showers and changes. Nadia gets dressed. They then heads down to the game room. Everyone meets there.
"So what do you guys want for brunch?" Madison asks.
"Maybe we can have omelets." Sid suggests.
"Oh yeah and bacon." Taylor replies.
"That actually sounds good." Jake says.
"Yes it does." Nadia says.
"Maybe French Toast." Geno says.
"Oh yeah." Anna replies.
"A big hearty breakfast. "Autumn says.
"Sounds good." Justin says.
Madison, Taylor, Autumn, Nadia and Anna head into the kitchen. Madison and Nadia set about making the omelets. Taylor makes the bacon and Autumn and Anna make the French Toast. While they were cooking the boys went and set the table. They then got the kids all dressed and ready. The girls bring the food out onto the table and they all sit down and start to eat.
"This is good ladies." Kris says.
"Yes it is." Sid says.
"Thank you for cooking." Jake replies.
"Yes thank you for cooking." Justin says.
"I love it." Geno says.
"Glad you guys do." Madison says.
"It is good." Nadia says.
"We did a good job tag teaming it." Taylor says.
"Yes we did." Autumn says.
"Teamwork makes the dream work." Anna says.
They all nod their heads in agreement. Once every last bite was devoured the boys clean up doing the dishes. They then head outside with the kids letting them play in the backyard. They girls loved playing with Noelle in her castle. The boys were having fun just running amuck. The adults talked and chatted while they watched the kids play. A little bit later they head back inside. They get the kids calmed down and settled into their forts for their naps. Once the kids were down they all head to their rooms. Nadia and Sid head into the bedroom. They both climb into bed.
"I love you baby." Nadia says snuggling up to him.
"I love you too. Now get some rest. Its a game night." Sid says.
"I know." Nadia says.
They snuggle together falling into a much needed sleep.
A few hours later the alarm goes off and Nadia and Sid get up. Nadia puts on her jersey and jeans and Sid puts on his suit. They then head down to the game room. Ruth had the kids up, dressed and ready. Everyone comes down and they all head to the arena. When they arrive Sid and the boys head into the locker room. Ruth takes the kids up to the suite to eat and watch the game. NAdia and the girls head to grab food and their Jake shake. They then head back to the runway and eat and drink while they watch warmups. The boys come off the ice. Sid comes and him and Nadia share a few kisses for luck and I love yous. They line up and then head back out onto the ice. The anthem is sung and the first period starts. A minute and a half into the period Nick goes down and scores.
"Hell yeah St. Nick." Madison says.
"That was what we needed." Taylor says.
"What a way to kick start this game." Autumn says.
"Amen." Anna says.
"We look phenomenal." Nadia says.
The period continues on with the Penguins throwing everything they could at the net. Halfway through the period MCcain goes and scores giving the Pens a 2-0 lead.
"Hell yeah baby." Taylor says.
"We keep throwing pucks at their goalie they are going in. "Nadia says.
"Wait to go McCainister." Madison says.
"That was awesome." Autumn replies.
"I know it was." Anna says.
The second period ends and after a brief intermission the second period starts. Not long into the period Boston ends up on the power play. During it they score.
"Son of a bitch." Autumn says.
"That just sucks." Anna replies.
"Its only one goal." Taylor says.
"She is right we are still in this." Nadia says.
"Yes we are." Madison replies.
The period continues on. Towards the end of the second Jake scores with an assist from Sid.
"Wakey Wakey goals with Jakey." Madison says.
"Hell yeah baby way to score and get your pregnant wife a free Jake shake tomorrow!" Taylor says.
"My hubby with an assist." Nadia says.
"This game is amazing." Anna says.
"Yes it is. We look like a whole different team." Autumn says.
"Well we always play our best hockey when our backs are against the wall." Madison says.
They all nod their heads. The second period ends and after another brief intermission the third starts. Both teams battle back and forth. Towards the end of the period Boston pulls their goalie. They score with almost two minutes left of the game.
"Son of a bitch Pens don't let them tie this." Taylor says.
"Right we need those two points badly." Autumn says.
"Yes we do." Anna says.
"We got this." Nadia says.
"Have faith." Madison says.
The girls close their eyes holding hands not wanting to watch. That was when they heard the goal horn go off. They open their eyes seeing that Mccain scored an empty netter.
"Hell Yeah MCcainsister times two. "Madison says.
"We just won snapping Boston's streak." Nadia says.
"That that rat face." Taylor says.
"Hell yeah boys." Anna says.
"Murray earned that warrior helmet tonight." Autumn says.
The girls slap the boys hands as they walk by. They then head to wait for them. Ruth meets them there with the kids. A little after the boys come out and they all head back to Madison and Kris's. When they get there they get the kids settled in their fort with a movie to help them fall asleep. They then all head to their rooms. Nadia and Sid head up to their room. They climb into bed together.
"How are Alex and Catherine?" Sid asks.
"Good. They are starting to sit up and develop little personalities. " Nadia says.
"That is good. I am glad." Sid replies.
"Yeah it is amazing.." Nadia says.
"I know. I love them so much." Sid replies.
"I know baby. "Nadia says.
They make love a few times before falling into a much needed sleep.
