The next morning Nadia and Sid wake up when the alarm goes off.
"Sorry its early but we have to fly to our next location." Sid says.
"I know." Nadia says.
"It is going to be nice and the kids are going to love it." Sid says.
"I know baby. We will too." Nadia says.
"Yes we will." Sid replies.
They both get up and get dressed. Sid wheels the luggage out into the living room. Everyone meets there. The girls go and get the kid up dressed and ready. The boys get the car loaded up. They go and grab breakfast to go. They then pile into the car and head to meet their plane. The boys get the luggage while the girls grab the kids. Once everyone was on board and they were cleared they take off. It wasn't a long flight to the Timbavati Game Reserve, at Geiger's Camp. For the next few days the property is booked exclusively for them. They land and head to their main house that would be theirs for the next three days. It was constructed from timber, stone, and thatch, it has a classic safari feel. The main lounge and dining room are found in two stone houses – these have a shared veranda as well as a swimming pool! Geiger's has five individually styled guest suites, all very well appointed and all connected to the main lounge. The kids would have their own. Nadia and Sid head inside of their suite. Sid drops the luggage off.
"Wow this is amazing." Sid says.
"I know. I specially like the en-suite bathrooms, with their big bathtub!" Nadia says.
"I am glad baby." Sid says.
They then head back out meeting everyone in the main lounge.
"Can we build a fort in our suite please?" Olivia asks.
"Yes can we please." Micah replies.
"Sure." They all say.
They head in there with the kids and build them a fort. When it was finished the kids laid down. It didn't take long for them to be out cold.
"Well I guess we can take a nap and then figure out what we want to do today." Kris says.
"Sounds like a good plan to us." Sid says.
"Yes I nap good." Geno says
"I agree." Jake replies.
"Me too. See y'all in a bit." Justin says.
They all head to their suites. Nadia and Sid head to theirs. They quickly change into their clothes for the day. They then lay down. Sid set his alarm. It didn't take long for them both to be out cold.
A little bit later the alarm goes off and Nadia and Sid get up. They then head out into the main lounge. They all meet there and the girls go and get the kids up and ready. They head out on their first tour. They board a bus and head for a guided tour of Moholoholo. Moholohol is the largest animal rehabilitation centre in South Africa. On the tour they were able to interact with rehabilitated, injured, orphaned and poisoned animals such as raptors, vultures, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, honey badgers and orphaned rhino if they are not receiving treatment .
"This is so awesome." Taylor says.
"I know right. We get to interact with wild animals." Anna says.
"This is amazing. I love this." Autumn says.
"Me too. I love the kids get to learn about them as well." Nadia says.
"Me too." Madison says.
They got to pet, feed and work with cheetahs and lions mostly. They were all so cuddly and lovable. During the tour the guides also teaches them about the rehabilitation techniques and treatment of injured, poisoned and abandoned animals and birds of prey.
"That was fun." Jake says.
"Yes it was. I am glad that we did it." Justin says.
"Me too." Geno says.
"It was pretty neat." Sid says.
"Yes it was." Kris replies.
They board the bust and drive to The Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre which has established itself as one of the leading private research and breeding facilities for endangered species in South Africa. The centre places particular emphasis on the breeding and maintenance of cheetah in captivity. A visit to the Cheetah project, home of the fastest sprinter in the animal kingdom, offers the opportunity to see the rare King Cheetah and young cheetah from an open safari vehicle which will be used for the 1hour long guided tour.
"Seeing the cheetahs up close and personal was amazing." Autumn says.
"I know in their natural habitat." Taylor says.
"And not a zoo." Anna says.
"Yes it was. I am glad we did this." Nadia says.
" I am too." Madison says.
On the way back they stop and have lunch at one of the local restaurants. When they finish they head back to the camp. When they get there they all change into their swimsuits and get into the pool with the kids. They swim, splash and just have fun.
A little bit later they get out and head into the main lounge. The girls take the kids into their room and into their bathroom where they bathe them and get them into dry clothes. They then head back out to meet the guys.
"We are going to do one of the sunset safari's here at the game." Justin replies.
"Yes it sounds fun." Geno says.
"See the animals at night." Jake says.
"That will be awesome." Sid says.
"Let's go." Kris replies.
They all pile into one of the Safari vehicles and head out for a cruise around the game. They watch the sunset as they drive. They see a variety of different animals including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, elephants and giraffes. They stop half way and enjoy a picnic dinner by the water as they watch Elephants and Hippos bathe and drink.
"This is life right." Madison says.
"Yes it is amazing." Nadia says.
"I agree." Taylor replies.
"Best trip so far." Anna says.
"I agree and I think the kids will too." Autumn says.
They continue on seeing zebras and some more animals known to Africa. Finally they arrive back at the main lounge and get out. They go in and take the kids into their room. The girls get them tucked in and ready for bed in their fort. They put a movie on for them but it didn't take long for them to be out. They then head to find the boys. They were sitting outside with a nice campfire going.
"We decided to have fire." Geno says.
"Yes we have the ingredients to make smores and we have wine." Jake says.
"Yeah figured it was a perfect way to cap off the night." Justin says.
"We saved you all seats." Sid says.
"Yes sit down and relax." Kris says.
The girls sit down with the boys. The make smores and sip wine while chatting about everything and anything. A little bit later they decided to call it a night. The guys put out the fire and the girls clean up the dishes. They them all head to their own rooms. Nadia and Sid check on the kids first. They were all still sleeping tucked in their fort. They kiss them all one by one without waking them. They then both head into their suite. They change into the pj's and climb into bed.
"Goodnight baby." Nadia says.
"Goodnight baby."Sid says.
They end up making love a few times before falling into a much needed sleep.
