The next morning Nadia and Sid both woke up when the alarm went off.
"Guess its time to get up." Nadia says.
"Yes we have a game today." Sid says.
"I know baby. " Nadia says.
They both get up and get dressed. They head out into the living room. They sit and eat the left over breakfast casserole. The girls then get the kids ready while the guys clean up. They then head to the arena. Sid and the boys go to their respected team areas to get ready. Nadia and the girls take the kids and head to their seats.
"Team USA up first." Taylor says.
"I know lets cheer loudly for Jakey." Madison says.
"Yup then its Russia and Geno." Anna says.
"And then our hubbies with Canada." Nadia says.
"Yes. With Murr and McCann. Plus we have to keep an eye on Sweden with Horny." Autumn says.
The girls nod their heads yes. The first game starts as USA and Finland take the ice. The first period starts and not long into Jake goes and scores.
"Wakey Wakey goals with Jakey." Madison says.
"My hubby with a beautiful goal." Taylor says.
"That was awesome." Anna says.
"I know wasn't it." Autumn says.
"Beautiful. Sid would be proud. "Nadia says.
Finland turns around and scores too. The girls groan. The first period ends tied. After a small intermission the second starts. Right away USA goes and scores again causing the girls to cheer loudly. But not even two seconds later Finland ties the game causing them to groan. The second ends and a little bit later the third starts. Neither team scores so it would be going into over time.
"Oh my god I hate overtime." Taylor says.
"I know it sucks. "Nadia says.
"Yes it does." Madison replies.
"Come USA." Autumn says.
"Yes we got this." Anna says.
Overtime starts. The kids had woken up just in time. Not long into Overtime Jake goes down and scores winning the game for USA.
"DADDA!!!!!!!!!!!" Summer and Liam both yell out loud.
"Awww they knew daddy scored the winner." Taylor says.
"That is so cute. And that was an awesome goal." Nadia says.
"Yes it was so cute and awesome for Jake to get the game winner. Now lets go Geno." Autumn says.
"Yes lets go Geno." The other girls say.
A few minutes later Russia and the Czech Republic take the ice and the first period starts. The game goes on and on with both teams having chances but nothing was going in. Finally Russia scores a goal with 10 seconds left in the period. Geno picked up the assist.
"Hell yea baby." Anna says.
"That was awesome." Madison says.
"10 seconds left and they score." Autumn says.
"Hopefully they can build on that." Taylor says.
"Exactly." Nadia says.
A little bit later the second period starts. Halfway into it Russia scores again. The girls cheer. The second period winds down and after another intermission the third starts. Towards the end Geno goes down and scores.
