I beamed as Todoroki led me through the crowd to see the sea anemone. I personally thought they were cool. Because it was Sunday, there were a lot of people. In order not to lose Todoroki I'd taken his hand. Afterall, if I lost Todoroki I couldn't exactly call his name.
Todoroki didn't seem to mind, at the very least he wasn't letting go. I was grateful my hands weren't sweaty, but my heart was definitely racing and my cheeks felt warmer than normal. Not to mention my stomach felt weird everytime he glanced back at me.
I smiled apologetically as I brushed past a woman, my grip on Todoroki's hand tightening slightly as I stepped closer to him. He didn't seem to notice, or if he did, he didn't react, for which I was grateful.
"Here." Todoroki brought me around a table and into a new room. I was amazed by how many tables were filled with different creatures, each with its own personal sign. I wondered how Todoroki found such a huge aquarium, especially because we'd had to ride the train to get here.
I giggled as I brushed my finger against one, watching it curl into itself protectively. I watched as it slowly unfurled a few seconds later. Within minutes I had Todoroki playing with me, touching the creatures and watching them curl up. Of course all the toxic ones had a glass cover on them, so I wasn't afraid of being killed.
"This is strangely satisfying." He commented.
I giggled, taking his hand and leading him away as another tour group entered the room. We slipped into a different room, this one filled with crustaceans. I was laughing, Todoroki was smiling.
"Lets go get some food and maybe some souvenirs." He held out his hand and I gladly placed my hand in it, sticking close as we walked into the crowded rooms. I beamed as we reached the gift store, holding my smoothie to my chest.
I released Todoroki's hand and wandered towards a shelf, scanning its belongings. There were a bunch of snow globes, but I was looking for one with an orca or jellyfish. They were my favorites.
"Hey!" I looked up at the voice, spotting a male grinning as he walked towards me. "Whatsapp?"
I blinked, not entirely sure how to answer. My paper was in my purse, but he seemed not to care about my answer as he prattled on.
"So there's a new dolphin up top, and I heard they were looking for cute girls to train with them! You should totally check it out!"
I blinked, blushing slightly. I pulled out my paper and scribbled quickly.
"Hold on, are you writing down your number? Cool man! I'll totally take it!"
I smiled awkwardly as I showed him the paper. "Umm, sorry, I think you might have the wrong person...?"
He laughed. "Nah man, just looking around at stuff and thought hey! Cute chick!"
My cheeks reddened and I ducked my head.
"Seriously though, you'd look hot in a bathing suit next to a dolphin."
I wrote more. "They wear wetsuits, not bathing suits."
"It's still be hot."
I glanced behind me as I felt someone's hand rests on my shoulder. "Hi." He turned his attention to me. "I found something you might like, over here." He added as he spun me around. I obeyed, relieved to get away from the flirting boy. I'd never really been flirted with when I wasn't at work, so I didn't know how to deal with it. At work I could just say I had to work and then leave.
I showed Todoroki my phone and he glanced at it. "Thank you Todoroki."
"Don't thank me, I was just doing what any person would."
I smiled, slowing as we stopped in front of a wall of posters. I turned my attention to them after a second, scanning them. They were all really cool.
"I thought you might like this one." Todoroki directed my attention to a poster on our left and I glanced at it. He was right, I did like it, it was beautiful.
I nodded, smiling brightly. Our day continued on a brighter note, and when Todoroki dropped me off at home I felt wonderful.
I handed him my phone and he read what I'd written. "Thank you for today Todoroki, i had a lot of fun!"
He smiled slightly. "Even though that guy was flirting with you?"
I shrugged, writing some more. "You saved me so I don't mind."
"Really? Well I'm glad I could help you."
I beamed. Todoroki was honestly a really amazing person, and my body moved on its own. I bounced up on my toes and pressed my lips to his cheek in a chaste kiss. I panicked and flashed a smile before slipping inside and closing the door behind myself.
My cheeks erupted in heat and I pressed my hands to my face, willing myself to just die on the spot. What had I done?? Why had I done that???
