I shifted as something touched my face. I didn't want to wake up.

"Emiko.." Something low whispered. Something both warm and hot pressed itself against my forehead. "Emiko wake up."

I shifted and buried myself deeper under the covers as the warmth beside me vibrated.

"Emiko, wake up." The hazy voice drifted closer before something brushed against my lips, effectively waking me up. I suddenly jerked back as Shouto grinned. He knew I hated it when he kissed me in the morning, I always had morning breath, everyone did.

"Shouto!"

His eyes glowed. "It worked then?" He erupted into laughter as he hugged me. I pouted.

"I was so comfy, why'd you ruin it?" I whined.

He chuckled. "I had to know. Im so, so happy." He kissed the top of my head.

I giggled. "Im never forsaking my voice again." I murmured. He paused.

"What do you mean by that?"

I nuzzled his chest. "Just that. Im not going to hide my voice, I already proved to myself I can do it. If I just concentrate a little bit, then I can talk without enchanting people."

Shouto laughed and rolled over so I was closer to my wall. "You're amazing Emiko."

I beamed. "I love you too."

"Emiko?"

"Yeah Shouto?"

"Did I ever tell you what I thought when I first saw you?"

I shook my head. "I don't recall ever talking about it."

Shouto smiled lightly. "When I first saw you, it was actually a few days before we officially met. You were with Present mic, and he was arguing with principle Nezu, you looked so uncomfortable. Akito was sleeping on you lap."

I laughed as I remembered. We'd only just gotten here, and Akito had worse jet lag than I did because he hadnt slept the night before. Uncle Yamada wanted us both to have our own passes.

Shouto nodded. "I remember thinking you looked like my mother, because of your hair. I thought it was beautiful." I blushed. "I'd actually been thinking about you when you walked into my classroom. I thought my mind was playing tricks on me, but when I saw you, I almost froze half the room. I just remember thinking you were absolutely stunning, more beautiful than I'd previously imagined. When you ran out of the room, I'd managed to leave the room and get halfway down the hall before I realized what I was doing."

I giggled. "You're a dork Shouto."

He nuzzled my face teasingly. "The first time I heard you laugh, I knew I had a major crush on you, and that it wasn't going away anytime soon." He kissed me, long and slow. "Our first fight, right before your brother came to me, I realized just how unhappy I was without you, that's when I knew I loved you."
