I exclaimed in surprise as a loud deep voice yelled at me.

'What're you daydreaming about? My throat almost ripped apart!'

I stared the dark expression on hyuk's face, my best friend as well as cousin. His thick eyebrows tied like a shin chan.

'What??'

'Yah, You haven't listened to me these minutes?'

'........'

'This is...!!!'

'Ah, I do listen lah! Continue your point, hyukiee~'

I lied. >0<

I was thinking of yesterday incident! That drove me insane all night long! I could not even close my eyes till late 2 am in the next morning!

Ashh, what was up with his sentence and action too!?

It was really frustrating! I could not find a clue.

Not even realizing, I stroked my lips softly and touched the necklace around my neck.

'How was your birthday party?'

Hyuk got closer and leaned next to me as the professor entered the class.

'Why do you ask since you didn't come?' I winced in disappointment and brought out the textbooks.

'Nah, your head got hit by a comet or what? I just threw you an earlier birthday this Friday!! And your birthday was on Sunday!' Hyuk tapped my forehead many times until I tilted backward.

'And N hyung also asked me. I don't wanna be a meddler'

'But his friend also came!' I bit my lip irritatingly as that friend of N popped up in my head.

Aish, I should not have thought of him! But last night touch...

'Oh My Bff- babo friend forever! You want me to sit in the middle of 80' couple? Watching you— oppa, take this~ Jagi, your mouth gets spot~ I"ll wipe for you, my boo— blah blah bleh bleh bleh bleh while I can watch football match happily at home?'

Again, Hyuk smacked my head lightly with the lesson papers. He shook his head, seeing my pouty face.

'And what is the present?'

'Are you a spy, hyukie?'

I teased when Hyuk got nearer again. He was scanning up and down even checked my bag pack. This friend had never been bored, minding other business!

'Nah~ I just wanna know since hyung didn't tell me so like the previous year.' Hyuk retorted and finally faced me.

'Eh, that thing or not?' His pale finger pointed my neck in surprise. I gasped and quick pulled up the collar.

'Ani! The teacher is starting the lesson!!'

I cut off and dragged Hyuk to the front woman who was saying something we weren't paying attention earlier.

'A new classmate?'

Hyuk snapped which drew me out of the bright sky outside.

My heart pounded faster, spotting that gorgeous face stood besides Mrs. Jang.

He was skimming the class before stopped at my place at the back. I quick turned away and focused on Mrs. Jang instead. Wh-wh-why was he here?

My hands clenched tight under the desk as teacher spoke out that unbelievable sentence.

'So this new semester we have a new friend who's just transferred from the nearby city. Let's give him a welcome clap'

The whole class broke into a loud noise, especially the girls. Even Hyuk dropped his jaw.

'Wow!! He is soo cool! That well built body and fixed expression! I bet my rival rises up'

'You're so loud, kiddo!' I pushed Hyuk head annoyingly. Yet, the thing getting on my nerves was that guy!

What was he doing here? Wasn't he supposed to stay in the senior class?

My eyebrows tied when he stood out and introduced himself.

'Thanks. Anyway, I'm Leo Jung. Nice to meet you and please take good care of me.'

He bowed and wore on that poker face as always.

'I have a question!' A girl in a third row raised up her hand.

'Have you got a girlfriend yet?'

The whole class burst out silence. All eyes fixated on that brave friend, me as well.

'Hahaha Hae joo did a good job!'

Hyuk chuckled hard till his eyes became unseen.

'Emm.. Already..'

The girls released a deep sigh with that answer. Leo smiled at that questioner which again created the chaos.

I gazed away as he was looking this way at the moment.

'Alrightx3 class!! Let's back to our track! Leo, find yourself an empty desk at the back. We gotta start today first chapter.'

Mrs. Jang cut off when few hands started raising up again.

'Heyyy yo—'

I quick struck Hyuk's arm as he waved his hand at the red headed guy, walking this row.

Only if I could pull his hair!! Ash!! Hyuk was such a*&%$&*(77!!

Leo noticed us and sat on the empty desk next to Hyuk right away. I guessed he intended to sit here since the first sight! I throated and concentrated on the lesson ahead, trying to ignore the nearby conversation.

'Hello, Leo! Glad to meet you :D' Hyuk seemed to be excited! -.-

I didn't listen anyway, just their voices passed my ears!

'Call me hyung'

'Huh?'

'I'm already 18.'

'Ohhh' Hyuk nodded his head in surprise.

One way or another, he didn't give up bothering Leo.

I could tell he failed to interpret people's expression.

Leo rarely smiled. Once he did, something was annoying his mind. And now he was giving Hyuk a light smile.

'Eh, isn't hyung supposed to study grade 12?'

'I suspended a year'

'Why?'

'Personal stuff. Anyway, what's your name?'

'I am Han San Hyuk but hyung can call me Hyuk and-'

I felt a light pull on my shoulder before my face was dragged out.

'This girl is Kim Jin Ah, a nerd! Don't misjudge pretty girls these days, you can rely on her during the exam period~'

I smacked Hyuk's hand off my head and frowned at the ahead person who was secretly smirking at me.

'Yeah, she looks reliable'

Leo nodded and lowered his gaze to my neck where the starlight locket glittered.

'Stop talking! The teacher is looking this way!'

I cut Hyuk off who was about to continue.
