Ken's diary..

I remembered that day when I first saw her. That cheery face in her sweet summer dress. She was walking along the park with her friend. They both are pretty but the one who caught my attention the most was that girl.

The warm smile she gave as I accidentally stumbled in front of them.

She offered her hand and asked whether I was okay. Then she helped me up. It was on sunny day and the light just ran through her figure, making her shone like a diamond.

Another way, she looked like an angel under the sunshade. The angle who was sent by the top person up the sky. I squinted when the light was so strong. Yet I could tattoo that innocent face in my memory.

I'd never believed in fate not until I spotted that pretty little face around my school's canteen. My heart just drummed in an uncountable beat. I then started thinking of a common sentence most people talked about "The world is so small."

Or it had been destined that we would meet again? I hoped this good sign would lead to something more. After a week, I learned her name and information from my classmate who had got a girlfriend in her class.

She was a junior. Her name is Kim Jin Ah. Jin. Such a cute name. I then began escorting that friend to her class and was damn happy to see her beautiful smile in this close. Still, I didn't dare to talk to her. She was quite popular among boys but the thing threw me up to the sky was she had got no boyfriend. Yet there was a rumor that she had a crush on someone after a year I'd been watching her from this far distance.

That afternoon was the best day of my life ever, the first time I talked to her. In fact, we talked through chat. I meant Facebook. Still, I didn't use my real name and profile picture. I was so shy since we almost met everyday. Indeed, I didn't have courage to face her. She was such a goddess. Apparently, one of my friends was into her and waited her after class everyday. Fortunately, she refused him. He was kind of Casanova. This meant I still had chance. Anyway, I didn't want to crash my friend's face because of this unrequited love.

At least wait a little more until he found a new girlfriend then I could ask her out. Meanwhile, I wanted to know more about her. As I expected, she was so nice and friendly. She talked a lot as well.

Disappointedly, she called me eonnie. I bet because of my profile picture. It was SpongeBob and I kept my gender and birthday privacy. Whatever, this worked well since she chatted comfortably. If I revealed my identity, she would just stop talking or even block me. And that was what I didn't expect to happen. I knew secret never stayed in a dark place for a long time but I eagerly wanted to talk to her.

After six months, we had got along so well. To the point, there was no more privacy. Mind you, I would never ever showed the real me unless the time was up. She told me her everyday life, and of course her crush.

To my surprise, she did turn to gloomy because of that guy's unaware-of-the-environment personality. She just put this emoticon ㅠ.ㅠ every time she mentioned his name. She said that some of her classmates were falling for him. They even banned the girls in class not to love him. It was so sad she couldn't approach him easily. Just like my story but mine was sadder..

I talked to her everyday but I could not confess her my love.

It was sadder..than titanic..

He, her crush, his name just threw me off the cliff. With her description, I saw no one further..someone who was around me..

And it hurt my heart..it was broken into pieces but I could do nothing since that guy did nothing wrong.

With his poker face walked around the school, he just came to study. He did nothing wrong.. No wrong for making girls headed over heels in love with him.
