Every time you saw Jim, you always knew what he would say, it was the same. Every. Single. Day.

"Wow..." He said to a girl passing by him. Even though you found it revolting that he passed girls and looked for a one night stand with them, deep down you wished you were one of those girls that he marveled at. Of course, it was a feeling that you buried deep, deep down.

And apparently, today was your lucky day, a small party for the cadets hosted by your best friend, who seemed to be the talk of the academy for good looks and her way into men's bedrooms. You weren't proud of her for that reputation, but nobody else would talk to you...

"(Y/N)! I did not expect you to actually come...!" She said, when you ended up actually going.

"Well, I did spend 20 minutes contemplating and procrastinating." You mumbled, as she pulled you into the crowd to dance. After a couple minutes, you regretted your decision for attending this party and made you run over to the bar.

"I'd like to have a glass of... apple juice." You said and the bartender raised his eyebrow before turning around and grabbing a juice box and tossing it over to you. You caught it quickly, and gave him a small smile before ripping out the straw and puncturing the box,

"What did the poor juice box do to you?" Jim asked, sitting next to you. You accidentally ended up squirting some of the juice on you, getting scared. He chuckled at the clumsiness and grabbed a few napkins, giving them to you. You pressed the napkins across your chest, wiping it away as best as you could, even though the stain was gonna be there for a while now. You stopped, feeling eyes on you and you looked up only to see Jim's eyes darting immediately from you chest up to your eyes, and he smiled.

"What a pervert..." You said, getting up and walking away but he followed you, desperately trying to sustain himself from actually grabbing you,

"Wait! I didn't mean it like that!" He cried out, through the loud music.

"WHAT?!?" You cried back, it seemed like you were going deaf by the second.

"I actually wanted to get to know you..." He said, coming closer. You squinted your eyes, looking at him real good, to make sure he wasn't lying.

"So I can pop into your bed for one day, no chance..." You snapped, walking off. Jim rolled his eyes,

"That's not what I meant... Your bestie told me you're a smart, amazing, really insecure woman." He stated, blocking you from the exit. You tilted your head, confused.

"I disagree with everything but the insecure part." You stated, pushing him away, and walking out of the club. He chased after you, something he found himself doing more often than ever.

"Alright, I get it, you don't trust me, but walking out in the dark with that type of dress will sure attract a lot more people than me." He said,

"What did that have to do with any of our conversation?" You turned to face him, a hand placed on the side of your hip,

"Wow..." He grinned, and that's when your heart fluttered.

"Alright, I get it, I'm a bit drunk so I have no idea what I'm saying. But what I do know is that you look amazing in this dress..." He said, standing where he is.

"See you tomorrow in class." He simply stated, before going back into the club. You opened your mouth to say something, but closed it, confused on what really just happened.
