New Sensation Pt. 2

(Anjali Jay is my OC...)

The days seemed to get longer and longer for Floresca as she spent her time on the planet. It was lonely, and even though she lived through it, the silence that flowed around made her miserable. She couldn't handle it anymore. On frequent nights, she lay on the grass, looking up at the stars. She wished she hadn't run off, she wished to join him. She was scared, though. Never did she let someone steal her heart that fast. Not even her husband.

What if he died as well?

What if she lost him, what if she put herself through pain once again?

Countless nights did she toss and turn in bed, trying to rid her mind of those questions. It was at moments like these, that she would grab the communicator and contemplate whether or not to signal him. She would sigh, placing it back in its little spot, and try to go back to sleep. However, the day came where she was fed up.

Fed up with hunting for food, fed up with cleaning all by herself, fed up with being lonely... Fed up with feelings that were unspeakable. She grabbed the comm, and signaled Kirk. After that, she became frightened,

What would I say? She thought to herself. I tried to kill the man, how would he react if I acted kind to him all of a sudden?

Meanwhile, back up at the USS Enterprise, Uhura walked over to Kirk, who was busy eating an apple in his command chair.

"We have an incoming signal from the mysterious planet." She reported and Kirk almost choked. He looked up at the lieutenant, his mouth wide open. She rolled her eyes in disgust,

"I don't need to see how your apple looks in your mouth." She scolded, and Kirk quickly swallowed and wiped his mouth with the sleeve of his shirt, before mumbling a soft, 'Sorry". He looked over to Sulu,

"Make a course over to the planet I was talking about." Kirk said, and Bones grumbled in the background,

"You mean the one you never shut up about?"

"Yes." Kirk said with a smirk, (A/N: I didn't mean to rhyme it! LOL) and Bones grumbled even more, as Spock furrowed his brows. As the Enterprise jumped into lightspeed, it seemed that not all hope was gone for Floresca when she noticed the ship across the sky. She smiled, clutching onto the communicator and watched the flying object come to a complete stop. Her joy knew no bounds as she ran over, but instantly she stopped. What would she say to him, and all her thoughts that plagued at night returned to her mind. She backed away, slowly, before she hit a soft surface. Turning around, she faced Spock who stared at her in curiosity. He grabbed hold of her, gently, and made his way over to the ship. Floresca stared down at the ground, as Kirk walked over to her.

"What happened?" He asked, and Anjali snorted in the background,

"It better be a good reason.." She muttered before Sulu hit the back of her head. She groaned, soothing her neck and continued to glare at Kirk and Floresca.

"I-I wanted..." Floresca was at loss of words. All she could do was stare into his blue eyes and ifnd comfort in it.

"Don't be shy to say anything.." Kirk whispered to her, holding her hands. Floresca's heart skipped a beat, and all she could do was smile,

"I wanted to join you all." She said, and Anjali gaped at the sentence.

"I'm afraid there's no room for you!" She hastily said, and Kirk turned around and glared at her,

"There is room.. in the Captain's lounge." He said, and Floresca turned a deep shade of red. Anjali rolled her eyes, marching back into the ship. Uhura took one last look of the mysterious woman that captivated Kirk and soon followed Anjali. Spock continued staring at Floresca, as Bones grumbled something while judging her. 

"Uh... this is Spock." Kirk said, gesturing to the Vulcan who nodded his head slightly. As Kirk began introducing his crewmates, Floresca seemed intrigued. A new adventure, a new sensation! She slowly made her way onto the ship, and looked back at her home,

"I'll miss this place." She said, 

"I'll miss not having another person on the ship..." Anjali mumbled and Kirk glared at her again,

"We can always come back here, whenver you want." Kirk said, smiling down at Floresca.
