"A science officer?" You asked, looking back at Spock before turning to the blond female in front of you.
"Yes, I've newly been assigned." She said, smiling.
"I don't recall there being a need for a new science officer." You stated, looking down onto your screen for anything about this.
"Precisely." Spock added, his brows furrowing in confusion. Captain Kirk took your screen from you, as his eyes were still set on the Dr. Carol Wallace.
"No need, it's good to have extra people aboard this ship. Ms. (L/N), would you mind sitting in the seat behind me, next to Dr. McCoy?" He asked, his eyes were STILL on the woman.
"What? No!" You exclaimed, and Captain Kirk slowly turned to you,
"I need to her to get to know me, let her know the ins and outs of this ship." He said, through gritted teeth, but you huffed,
"I'm not leaving this seat." This was finally your day to sit next to the Captain, and he wanted you out. It hurt you deep down inside, but you weren't going to lose this seat, no matter what Kirk said.
"You could just sit on my lap...." Kirk said to the blonde with a wink, and you fumed getting up,
"Not on my watch!" You cried, grabbing her and dropping her into your seat, you muttered some curse words as you sat down behind Kirk and next to the Doctor. Bones smirked at this scene,
"I see someone's jealous." He whispered to you, and you shifted in your seat,
"I'm not jealous, I'm angry." You whispered back. You were staring straight ahead, but occasionally looked at the scene between Dr. Wallace and Kirk as he began talking and talking about the ship and giving flirtatious statements to the woman. You were about to punch that blonde off her seat, but Bones pulled you back,
"Not now." He whispered, but you heard a Vulcan whisper back,
"It would be convenient if you did...."
Looking up, you noticed Spock staring at you, and you nodded,
"I'll save it for the Enterprise, besides she needs to get some experience of how it's like with me on that ship..." You whispered, smiling. Spock nodded, before turning straight ahead. Bones giggled, before turning back to his devices.
