Warnings: Never been good at this, so idfk.
"Approaching a new destination. No life forms detected." First Officer Spock announced to the ship, as the crew examined a lush green environment from afar.
"No life forms for sure?" Kirk asked, aloud. He squinted his eyes, something in him felt as though there was somebody down there. Spock nodded, and Lieutenant Uhura settled herself in her seat, trying to communicate with whatever could be down there. Captain Kirk fixed his gaze from Uhura back to the planet in front of him.
"Keptin..." Chekov said, blinking down at his screen, as his brown curls fell onto his forehead. Kirk snapped his attention to the Russian,
"What is it?" The Captain asked. The Russian looked back to the Captain. He stared at everyone, before turning back to his screen. Sulu stared at the boy,
"Spit it out." He said and Chekov shook his head in disbelief,
"You should be receiving a transmission right... now." The boy said and Uhura's eyebrows raised in shock, the boy was right. Bones gasped in the background.
"Goddammit boy, what do you have? Superpowers?" He asked, crossing his arms. Chekov still kept staring at the screen, and Kirk tilted his head.
"Let's get down onto to the planet, I have a strong urge to explore it." Kirk said, as the ship slowly descended itself.
"I didn't detect any life forms." Spock stated, and Bones scoffed in the background,
"We got a transmission." The doctor argued, and Spock furrowed his brows, wanting nothing more to than to punch the illogical brute. Kirk sighed, as the Enterprise came to a complete stop, and he rushed outdoors.
"We'll split into groups. Chekov, you're coming with me." Kirk said, and he looked over to the rest of the crew, "Bones, you're with Spock, everyone else has to stay on the ship."
Bones grumbled as Spock began listing several ways on how that was a bad decision. Kirk raised his hand to shut the Vulcan up,
"Enough, Spock." The Vulcan huffed, before grabbing his communicator and storming off. Bones stared at Kirk,
"This has to be one of your stupidest decisions." He grumbled before chasing after Spock. The Captain sighed, before turning to the Russian.
"Come on, Chekov. We have much to do here." Chekov nodded, following the captain as they went through the new land.
After what seemed like hours of just pure silence, Jim couldn't take it anymore. He turned to Chekov, smiling at the boy, before jumping down onto lower ground.
"So, tell me, Chekov, how did you know we were going to get a transmission?" He asked, and the boy gulped a bit.
"Vell, you see, Keptin-" He began, before getting interrupted with an explosion. Kirk flew backwards, his head hitting the ground, and he blacked out for a couple minutes.
When he woke up, he stared into the eyes of an.. alien. Well, so he thought. She looked pretty human, and he tilted his head, taking everything about her into consideration. His eyes traveled down her body before snapping up to meet her own set of blue eyes. She struck her hand down onto his face, and he groaned in pain,
"You think you can trick me like my husband? You're wrong." She spat, her spear tucked underneath his chin. Kirk gulped,
"You're hus-husband?" He asked, "You have a husband?"
