Today was a bad day for Chris. His car broke down, and he was already late to home, so now he was stuck in a bus stop, with rain pouring at him and the streets. Occasionally, the thunder seemed to chatter with the lightning, and he sighed. A car sped past him furiously, splattering mud onto him. He washed it off with an indifferent expression, trying best to control his anger, but he was about to fail. His blonde hair was amok his face as the mud slowly dripped down onto the concrete floor. He closed his eyes, taking in the fresh air, and he started to admire the pattering of the rain. He wasn't even bothered by the thunder nor the lightning.

Who cares if I'm late? He thought to himself. It was so quiet and peaceful, and suddenly there was a scream. His eyes fluttered open and next to him stood a person. A beautiful one, that Chris couldn't help but stare at. They giggled, happily, dropping their stuff, and carefully placing their shoes onto the bench, and raced outside of the little perch provided by the bus stop, and jumped into the rain. Splashing and jumping, they looked like they were enjoying the rain so much, that somewhere deep inside Chris, he wished to join them. The way they smiled and danced was enough to make his heart skip a beat. He was about to take off his shoes, when a bus pulled up and the driver hollered out a street name, that was only just a muffle to Chris, due to the rain, and the person got their stuff and hopped on board, disappearing from view. Chris sighed deeply, he was now alone again. No one to give him company, except for the rain and thunder, not to mention the lightning, that seemed to get closer and closer to him.

"I should have asked for the name." He muttered to himself, huffing in frustration. Now they were nothing more than strangers in the rain...
