"When are you gonna shave this shit?" Celine asked as she tugged at my beard as I drove.
We decided last minute to visit my Mom's before I headed out for the night. She hasn't seen Jalen in a hot minute.
Swatting her hand away, I sucked my teeth "when I feel like it, stop tugging at my shit," I laughed.
"It's a bit patchy" Celine said scrunching up her nose laughing
"Nah that's cause it needs to grow more you hater" I said back squeezing her thigh with the hand I had rested on it.
"Fine" she said shrugging
"I'm surprised you giving up so easily, this is new" I said laughing. Celine wasn't know to just back down from a disagreement.
"Nah it's fine cause if you wake up with half of it gone you'll be forced to get rid of it" she said smiling
"You do that I'll shave you bald" I said back
"Wigs exist, I've been meaning to go natural anyway. You doing me a favor" she laughed
"Stop Celine leave my shit alone aight, I'm not gon keep it forever just let me have my shit" I said back whining
"Yeah okay" she said as I pulled up and parked on the curve to my Mom's place.
"I'll get the car seat" I said as got out of the car and went around to her side opening her door before opening the back door.
"Thank you" Celine said as she got out the car and shut the passenger door.
I quickly unlatched Jalen's car seat from its latch and pulled him out.
"Got 'em?" Celine asked
"Yep, got the package" I said laughing
"Is he sleeping?" She asked
"Yeah, but the way he's moving looks like he's about to get up" I said looking at him as Celine shut the back door.
That's when we both saw the front door open and close, then out walked Trey.
"Awe he's coming to help us" Celine said
But I knew Trey's lazy ass.
"Trey! Where you going?" I called out which immediately startled him and got his attention.
"Oh hey" he said stopping in his tracks "I didn't know y'all was coming over"
"Well we here, but where you going?" I asked scrunching my brows as I pressed the lock button on my keys to lock the car doors.
He paused before giving me his answer, "I was just gonna meet a friend" he said
