Arguments 🌙
{colby's POV}
I waked into school, eyes instantly falling on the blonde boy who I seriously needed to talk to. He was stood with Jake, the two of them talking away happily. I marched over, and without a word took Sam's wrist and dragged him as I continued to walk.
"Colby; what are you -"
He didn't finish though. I walked with him to the toilets and walked inside, shutting the door behind us.
"Right, we need to talk," I told him, peeking around the room to check we were alone. We were.
"W-what about?" Sam asked, fiddling with his jumper sleeves, eyes trained to the floor.
"Last night," I stated.
"W-what a-about last n-night," Sam stuttered; unable to meet my eye.
"I want to know what's going on," I decided, folding my arms.
"What are you talking abou-"
"You tell me all the time you have to be back by 8," I interrupted.
"C-cos I do," Sam said questionably.
"Then why weren't you there at 8?" I pushed.
"I - I w-was" Sam whispered, eyes darting around the room but not meeting my gaze.
"No you weren't. Stop lying to me Sam! I forgot my hoodie, and went back and no one was home!" I exclaimed.
"So why do you have to be home by 8? Do you have to go somewhere or something? Why won't you just tell me!"
Sam blinked at me, his eyes filling with tears that I failed to miss. My heart sunk a little at the look on his small face, but I wanted answers. Now.
"I -I c-can't t-tell y-you," Sam sniffed, finally meeting my gaze. His eyes were sad, and it almost got me to stop questioning, but i didn't.
"Best friends tell each other everything right! Why won't you just tell me! Is it that bad that -"
"I SAID I CAN'T TELL YOU! ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS ANYWAYS! YOU KNOW WHAT, MAYBE I DON'T WANNA BE YOUR BE BEST FRIEND IF YOUR GONNA BE LIKE THIS!" Sam shouted. I blinked, my mouth hanging wide open in shock. Sam looked shocked too, and he gave me one last glance before turning and running out the toilets. I stood there, frozen like a statue, heart in my mouth as I thought of his words. Over and over again.
