{Colbys POV}

We had to wait 3 days till the next full moon. I had to leave eventually.. seeing as I still had to go to school, and I had a mother who was slightly concerned about her son who never seemed to be home anymore. Sam didn't get much better, but didn't get worse either. He just laid in the bed, sleeping soundly, especially if I was there with him. On the night of the full moon, mrs golbach asked if I'd come along. I agreed, obviously. I walked into the field, through the bush and to the waterfall. Sams little brother Ben, was sitting outside, and when he saw me he smiled. I jogged over to him.
"Hey mate," I smiled, as he gave me a small hug. He turned, flicking his wrist and the water parted, and me and Ben walked through. I walked into the room, where Sams entire family was sat. Sam was sat upright, leaning against his dad. His eyes looked heavy, but when his gaze wandered to me, they widened slightly.
"Colby!" Mrs Golbach smiled, standing up to hug me gently. I hugged back, smiling. Mr golbach stood up slowly, making sure Sam stayed upright, before motioning for me to take his place. I gladly sat down next to Sam, letting him flop his head onto my shoulder.
"Hey baby," I whispered, linking my hand with his and resting them in my lap.
"The moon should be fully up about half 8," mr golbach stated, checking his watch. It was 8 now, so there was only half an hour left of waiting. I stayed sat next to Sam, who had shut his eyes. I knew he was still awake though, as every now and again i'd feel him squeeze my hand.

When half 8 finally rolled around, Mr Golbach stood up.
"Right, everyone to the hill," he stated. Everyone stood up, walking towards the exit. I stood up, carrying Sam bridal style, as there was no way he was walking anywhere. We left the waterfall, walked behind it and walked up a tall hill, which seemed to be directly underneath the full moon.
"Just set him down there, colby," mrs golbach told me. I carefully set sam down, and he reached his hand out for me as I walked away. I sighed, pecking his head quickly and then stood back with the others. Sam somehow managed to stay sat up by himself, his little head moving around, his eyes confused. And I waited. I waited for something.. anything to happen. When suddenly, a beam of what I assumed was moon light shone down onto the blonde boy. My mouth dropped open as little sparkles of light began to fall onto my boyfriend, disappearing completely as soon as they touched his skin. I watched as Sam sat up straighter, and I could almost see the strength returning to his limbs. And as quickly as it had come, the beam of light disappeared. I blinked, watching as mrs golbach rushes towards her son, fussing over him and helping him stand. I was frozen in place, my eyes wide with shock, as I watched my boyfriend stand with no trouble at all. Seconds ago he couldn't sit upright without falling.
"S-sam," I stuttered, as the blonde walked over to me. He smiled shyly, shrugging his shoulders.
"I told you I wasn't an ordinary boy," Sam grinned. I smiled back, throwing my arms around him and burying my face into his neck.
"You scared me so much!" I whispered, my hand grasping onto the fabric of his hoodie and squeezing.
"Sorry," Sam giggled, pulling back from the hug to look at me. Without hesitating, I smashed my lips onto his. I didn't care that his entire family were watching, or that I was stood on a hill in the middle of a field under a weirdly magical full moon. Sam kissed me back, and I almost melted.
I pulled back, not wanting to get carried away, when his family were a few feet away.
"Never, do that again," I warned, cupping his cheeks with my hands. Sam smiled, his blue eyes sparkling.
"You'll just have to protect me," Sam smirked, his tone teasing.
"Always," I smiled, pulling him in for another hug, resting my head on top of his. I breathed a massive sigh of relief, before releasing him and letting the blonde go and talk to his family. I smiled, and stared up at the big full moon, my heart full of love and relief.
