{Colbys POV}
It was about a month since the.. incident. Everything was back to normal. Sam was coming to school again, we'd hang all the time. Everything was good. Really good. Some nights i'd spend with Sam, in his weird little waterfall with his family. It was nice. His family were nice. It'd been sams birthday, and i'd gotten him some cute gifts (including a crescent moon keyring, just for tradition), and we'd spent the day at mine, watching movies and then eating lots of cake later on. Sam was perfect, we were perfect.
One night, I was getting ready for bed, just about to change into my pyjamas when I heard something hit my window. I froze, turning to look at the glass. After a few seconds, a tiny pebble came up to bang against the window. I walked over, looking outside. Sam was standing under my window, fiddling with his fingers, as he smiled up at me. I blinked. What was he doing? It was dark!!
I quickly bolted out my bedroom, down the stairs and out the front door.
"Sam! Sam what are you doing! It's dark!" I hissed, grabbing his arm and attempting to pull him inside. He just laughed, wriggling out of my death grip.
"It's a full moon. Cmon, I wanna show you something," Sam smiled, reaching his hand out for me to take. I blinked, relief flowing through me as I shouted to my mum that I would be back later, and shutting the front door. I linked my hand with my sams, as he started walking. I followed him. We talked about anything and nothing as we meandered down the quiet streets, finally arriving at the field.
"What- sam what are we doing here?" I groaned, and Sam just laughed, that adorable little laugh. He dragged me through the gate, and walked down to the bush, pushing through the branches and into the waterfall clearing.
"You know I already know about your weird waterfall, right?" I joked.
"I'm aware," Sam joked back, pulling me along. He led me up behind the waterfall, to the hill we had to sit on for Sam to 're-charge' after those creepy shadows drained him. He looked up at the sky, searching for something. He suddenly smiled, sitting down, and patted the spot next to him. I sat down cautiously, and he giggled and leaned towards me.
"Sam-what are we-"
"Just wait," he told me, linking our hands together. We waited about a minute more, before the moon rays once again fell down onto sam. I jumped, and Sam only laughed, and I watched in awe as his skin began to glow, radiating light the same as the moon. I smiled, as I ghosted my fingers over Sams glowing skin. It was gone as soon as it came, and Sam smiled at me.
"It's cool, right," Sam smiled. I nodded, leaning forward toward sam, who got the hint, meeting me halfway and pressing our lips together in a soft, gentle kiss. He pulled away not long after, staring into my eyes.
"I love you," he whispered, cheeks flushing a bright pink straight after. I smiled, bringing a hand up to cup his soft cheek, and pressing a kiss to his forehead."I love you too, moon boy."
So that's it, finished 😂
Hope you all enjoyed this extremely weird story, I liked writing it :)
