Anna woke up to pans banging together and hearing a sizzling sound. She rubbed her eyes and pulled back the covers to see all her clothes still on. She sighed sadly and walked into Rob's kitchen.
"Anna, hey!" Rob smiled and handed her a plate. "Eat whatever you want." He turned back to whatever he was making. Anna looked at him questionably. What was going on? No boy had ever made her breakfast before. It was also awkward. She took some food anyway piling food on her plate to make Rob happy. He turned around and saw her pile of food and his eyes got wide.
"Damn you like to eat." He started laughing as he flopped a pancake on her plate.
"I took a lot of food to make you feel better." She pointed at him.
"Yeah yeah," He kissed her on the forehead and went back to the stove. Alice Cooper's School's Out droned in the background.
"So what do you want to do today?" He grinned at her and slapped the counter. "This song is Alice Cooper's best."
"Mhm," Anna nodded along to the beat and sang out, "Schools out for summer!"
"Didn't know you were such a good singer," Rob pointed a spoon at her.
"I try hard not to be noticed." Anna blushed. Someone at the door knocked and Rob looked quizzically at her.
"You don't have anyone coming over right?" She asked.
"Nope." He wiped his hands on his pajamas which were adorable, and walked over to the door and opened it. There stood a girl, a girl from school. She looked so familiar, but Anna couldn't pinpoint who she was. Then she spoke.
"Rob," She sobbed. "I screwed up, I need to talk to you please." Anna suddenly knew who it was, Janelle Stanesl. Rob looked over at Anna apologetically and said,
"I can't right now, I've got a friend over." A friend. Janelle looked in and froze as she saw Anna.
"Her!?" Janelle's voice got angry. "You broke up with me for her!?" Anna felt it like a slap.
"If I remember correctly you broke up with me, for Mat, or was it for Greg." Rob's voice was rising. Anna felt like this conversation should be private, but she couldn't bring herself to leave. Janelle was cheating on Rob, with Mat and Greg, or Mat with Rob and Greg, or Greg with Rob and Mat. But she was dating Mat publicly. What was going on? Janelle wept silently.
"It's over between me and Mat. He found out." Rob looked uncomfortable.
"I'm sorry." But Rob didn't sound sorry. If anything he seemed angry she even came to him.
"Greg thinks I'm a slut, he thought I was Yazmen." She curled against him and he stumbled backward and ran into the counter. She clung to his shirt and tried to kiss him. He looked over at Anna asking for help, but she just shrugged helplessly. Rob pulled her gently off him and took her by the wrists as she cried.
"Janelle, do you love me?" Anna stiffened.
Janelle sniffed and finally said "Yes." Anna wanted to attack Janelle and rip her face off. What business did she have loving Rob?!
"Do you love Greg?"
"Yes,"
"Do you love Mat?"
"Yes."
"Well, I'm not avaliable, Mat probably hates you, and Greg thinks your a slut,"
She cried more.
"How does that make you feel?" He looked at her with sad "Horrible."
"How does cheating feel now?"
