When Andrew's mom got home that night Elena and him were watching a movie together on the couch. His mom looked at him suspiciously, but then was to tired to say anything. When the movie was over he started to drive Elena home. They talked about their future on the way there and eventually the started talking about what they wanted when all of the sudden out of no where came a deer. Andrew swerved out of the way of it's body and then he felt the tires start to spin.
"Andrew! Stop the car!" Elena yelled into his ear. She was clutching her seatbelt making her knuckles turn white, Andrew pushed hard on the break and they jolted forward in their seats. Elena was breathing hard as she wrapped her hands around Andrew's bicep. She cried into his shoulder and Andrew tried to calm her down.
"Elena why are you crying, we're ok. It's ok."
"I know, it's just my mom, she died in a car crash and I was in it Margie and me." Elena's tears keep rolling down her cheeks and Andrew wipes them off with his thumb and kisses her forehead and wraps his other arm around her. To think that they could have gotten in an accident is scary, to lose Elena was like losing the sun on a sunny day.
