The morning after, he woke up tired. The few hours of shut eye hadn't helped much and he was just as tired. For a second, his mind was blank and peaceful. Then the Dark War, Order, his father, his identity of Percy Jackson, the day before, his mission on Earth, and everything else that was even a little worrisome came rushing back.
He didn't want to get off the bed. He just wanted to sleep for the rest of the day. The blankets were nice and warm and the sun was just annoying. He especially didn't want to leave the bed when he thought about Percy Jackson.
They knew now. They knew who he was. They would either try to get him to leave the camp. They would probably rant about how he was banned from the camp and shouldn't even be on the same ground as them. On the other hand, they wouldn't even have the guts to come over to him and speak. They never really did have the guts. But now that they knew that he used to be one of them. Would that make them braver and they actually would approach him?
Honestly, he just didn't care. He didn't want to think. He didn't want to talk. He didn't want to listen. He was just exhausted with this whole mission. The next time Gaea attacked, he would personally kill her. He would kill Kronos. He would kill the giant king. He was just tired of all of this. He would move back to Chaos Castle, and refuse all missions. He would just stay there and fight alongside his father. He was already sick of Earth.
He still got out of bed and dressed up. He didn't want to wear his normal cover today. They already all knew who he was so what was the point? Today, he just went into the light as Percy Jackson.
He walked to the Chaos table, hating the silence that followed immediately when he was seen in plain sight. The silence disappeared and whispers appeared instead of it. He did his best to ignore all the whispers and just go on with eating.
"The son of Chaos..."
"Son of Poseidon... "
"Centuries ago... "
"Kicked out of camp... "
"... Percy Jackson!"
"PERCY JACKSON!"
He didn't say a single word through the whole whispering. he sucked it up and kept eating, as if all of them weren't talking about him. That was until some idiot lacking brain cells decided to come up to him.
"You... you... TRAITOR!" Someone yelled. "Do you really think we're that stupid? Do you?"
"What?"
"You joined Gaea. You're a spy!" Some other person yelled.
"Yeah! KILL HIM!" Someone else yelled.
Before he even knew what was going on, many of the demigods pulled out their weapons and started advancing. It didn't click until seconds later. Hyperion had said that he had joined Kronos and Gaea. He was supposed to sacrifice himself for them or something. And now, these demigods thought that he was a traitor.
In an instant, he had his sword out. The Void soldiers pulled out their weapons as well. They looked ready to attack, even though their instructions were to keep the demigods safe.
Just as a battle was about to start, someone yelled, "STOP! THERE'S NO WAY THEY'RE WITH THEM. THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT CHAOS!"
"HE IS WITH THEM. THE OTHERS AREN'T!" Some demigod yelled.
"HE CAN'T BE WITH THEM! HYPERION WOULD'VE KNOWN IT WAS HIM. And besides, he's Chaos' son."
"He's the son of Poseidon!"
"He's Chaos' adopted son, you idiot."
"That doesn't mean anything. He can still be on their side of the war!"
